- ... but I don't get it. He must've already cheated on Emily when Jacquelyn was born. Sloane, it's your fault Jacquelyn died! Your guilt!

-But it's weird, now, thinking that they went back to live in Italy at the end of season two, as it was where Jacquelyn died and all. Although I guess it's nice, seeing as Emily died there too.

-I was so disgusted when she did that. I was all, Sydney, this is yout father WHO GOT RADIATION POISONING SAVING YOUR LIFE. Will you PUT THINGS IN PERSPECTIVE A BIT.

- I know that Nadia kinda loves Sloane, but it doesn't make sense why. Yeah, he's her dad... but other than a few assorted dinners AND HIM TAKING HER AROUND THE WORLD AND PUMPING HER FULL OF RAMBO GOO, where is the love? And I love Nadia to death, so I was all touched by her cuteness.

- Dude, the montage rocked on. The only thing I disliked was the spinning. I HATE when they spin. It makes me nauseous. But she was hardly the first to do it, so I can forgive her.

... But, he said "30 years ago" in reference in Jacquelyn, which puts her before Nadia, and the whole affair- dude, what YEAR is it? How old is Nadia, like, 25? 26? And Syd, six, seven years older? Is Syd 33? So, Syd was 3 when Jacquelyn happened... which means Nadia didn't exist... so, Sloane and Emily came back from Europe, and Sloane had the affair and Irina left... and then Sloane and Emily went back to Europe? I AM CONFUSED.

Maybe Sloane and Emily came back to the States after Jacquelyn died because they had to get away. (Was SD-6 created yet? Or was Sloane still CIA?)

I don't think Sloaned seeked Irina out or anything... I don't know. I guess the affair just sorta happened?

And yeah, that would be twenty-two years-ish. Syd kinda sorta had to be six years old before her mom could leave. Woo.

Yes, Nadia has daddy issues. But like she's said so many times--she believes in him, and she's trying to keep him good or whatever. I think Nadia could also be set up for a huge guilt trip if Sloane goes bad again (and doesn't "come back" as he has been)--like, she should have been able to stop him, because she should've known, blah blah blah.

PLUS, wouldn't it be cool if Sydney were wrong about Sloane this time? And Nadia was right? Talk about a victory for the lovely.

Well, I HOPE she's freaked out by Sonia Maria Sophia Elena, because here's this woman that raised her but ONLY TO WATCH HER AND EVENTUALLY KILL HER. Derevko Sister Numero Tres is all kinds of evil, and I think that's kinda depressing. I also hate that the whole climax of this season is being set up by the third, ONLY MENTIONED LAST YEAR, Derevko sister.

All I have to say is, I think Irina should be head of the Covenant--she did it to protect Sydney, and somehow, to protect Nadia, too. Because that would just be so awesome, and I've wanted it all along.

Well, yeah, but they still "spent most of Sydney's childhood in Europe." I swear, I didn't make that up. Because Sloane said that he had known Sydney since she was born, but she didn't know him because him and Emily were away! This never made much sense to me, because I doubt that Emily would've lied to Sydney all those years. But whatever.

Okay, there is no way that affair "just happened." I mean, Sloane LOVED Emily. Like, die-hard, excessive devotion to one's wife, love. And Irina loved Jack. So it wasn't like they got carried away with affection or something. Gaaah. I don't know what it was.

Like, six and a half. But whatever.

Oh, Nadia totally will blame herself if she isn't enough to keep Sloane from The Dark Side, because that's an inherited Derevko Trait, or something. And she does believe in him- but WHY? DOES NO ONE REMEMBER THE GREEN GOO? I mean, yeah, yay second chances and all, but that was not some minor thing like forgetting a birthday.

Dude. That's just petty. I'm pretty sure Sydney would prefer it if Sloane weren't evil. For one thing, it would devastate Nadia, and she's her sister and etc. Plus? She'll feel really stupid for missing it AGAIN. All in all, I see it as less of a victory for the lovely over Syd than a victory in general.

Dude, Katya was only mentioned last year, too. THEY MAKE IT UP AS THEY GO ALONG. And I'm kinda thrilled that she isn't at home baking cookies or anything, but poor Nadia. It's sad that she raised Nadia and now she's all evil and stuff.

Ooh, and Cole worked for her! Remember, that was the link we got between her and Sloane last season?
