(no subject)

Today was the first day in about three weeks that I haven't had something due. And by that I mean, I did my TOK oral, and now I am FREE until March 24th, which is my Drama Oral.

Last night after volunteering I dedicated myself to preparing for TOK- I really started and finished all my research last night and was pretty much doomed. In English this morning we watched a piece of Titanic and that really calmed me down. It's like when I listened to songs from The Sound of Music on Carol's iPod the day of the play or when 13 going on 30 was on TV before my surgery. Jack and Rose were dancing, Cal laid down the law at breakfast, Ruth laid down the law while lacing Rose up, the religious service with an appearance by SpyDaddy, SpyDaddy's Titanic Tour, Jack's Psuedo-Declaration of Love, Tea with Rose, and then The Flying Scene. Honestly, what better to distract me?

The oral went wonderfully. We got to go the two hours, which sounds scary, but worked in our favor because we would've never finished otherwise. We all got As. We got As talking about sex to the class. That's pretty cool. I blushed a LOT.

And then I came home and had a two hour long nap. And that, my friends, was heaven.
