It's kind of weird that the last two times I've started watching what would become my epic TV obsession, they've both been on memorable days. I started watching Alias on Christmas Eve- I remember because I didn't realize how long the pilot was, and I had to pause it before the end so that I could go to mass. (I later realized I stopped it like, a minute before the end, heh.)

Then with BSG, I started watching it the day of the finale. At least, I count that as my first day- I knew it was airing, and when it ended, I went to the wikipedia to see what had happened to the President and the Admiral that my friend Yubs was so into. Then I saw that ~~SciFi~~ SyFy was playing it again, so I put it on in the background. And it made me sob. I was doing my taxes and bawling over Lauroslin's tragic death when I started downloading the mini.

Which makes today my one year anniversary. :-D
