Me: Yesss, tonight's rerun of Grey's has Lauroslin!
Dad: Lauroslin? What's a Lauroslin?
Me: There's this show called Battlestar Galactica-
Dad: [groan]
Me: - THAT IS AWESOME, SHUT UP- and on it is this character named Laura Roslin. Laura Roslin. Perfect for a name smush. Lauroslin. Voila. And she's on Grey's.
Dad: Grey's is a terrible show.
Me: Um, you are mistaken, sir.
Dad: Let's get dinner, first. Come on, my little Lauroslin.

And tomorrow will be the epic viewing of the four-hour epic Dances with Wolves. Four hours! Who makes movies that long? Kevin effing Costner, that's who.

ETA: And Efron was so inspired by Lucas' collection that he is now requesting to be considered for the lead role in the "Star Wars" TV series.

Last time I came home for easter, I came down on Friday and left on Sunday and it was stupid! Twelve hours of travel for like, forty-eight at home. So this year I said "bah on you, classes!" and went home.

Man, I don't know, but if this is the Adventures of Young Han Solo or something equally terrible, I am going to fly to Skywalker Ranch and cut George Lucas. Probably with all the Star Wars crap I bought over the years.
