Yahtzee, angel of mercy that she is, extended the ficathon due date by a day, therefore, I don't need to kill myself! Yippee hooray!

Today I had dinner at the Hoppes'- a real, homecooked meal that wasn't mass produced and laden down with sodium. Roasted chicken and gravy and stuffing and salad... all real and fabulous and not frozen! And Mrs Hoppe also made me a chocolate cake with frosting and raspberry jam between the layers... it was fabulous. The saddest part was leaving to come back to the dorm- I felt like I should be seeing my family or something. It was weird being there without my mother and sister, and without Amelia. Also, peeing in a bathroom where I didn't need to line the seat was absolutely amazing. Private bathrooms are vastly underrated.

My Communist Party shirt arrived, and I can't wait to show it off. It's fabulous.

House today was good... I really love Cameron, in spite of her bangs. I miss Jennifer Morrison's forehead. Come back, forehead! Come back! And the episode wasn't quiiiite as sucky as I predicted. By Wilson far surpassed the sucktitude I had ever anticipated from him. Shame on you, Jimbo!

In two days I will be hooooooome and with Jess and seeing SHAKIRA the next day, and man oh man am I excited. Now if I could only get rid of this damn cold...

I just think Wilson doesn't like Happy-House because there's less mocking an abuse. And I think he misses it. Because he likes being mocked and abused. So he just wants House to be Miserable-House. So, "Hey!" he decides. "If I don't tell him maybe he'll come to me for comfort again! Or he'll get his frustration out on me!" Or something.

My head hurts.

LOL, I really think that's everyone's beef. They're like, House isn't House without the misery and the cane! We want our House back!

Well, he's got the cane back. And I can imagine that it will only make him more miserable than before. ... And, I'm pretty much spoiler'less for the next episode. Siiiiigh.

See, aren't home-cooked meals SO much nicer than dining halls? Do you feel the novelty of the meal plan wearing off? :D If and when you visit me again, I shall make nice food for you.

I am SO excited! I keep counting down. It's less than two days now until I see you! And you will be home! And I will be with you! And we will see SHAKIRA! And yay!
