(no subject)

So, today I wake up with a sore throat. No big thing, I think, and I get online, and talk merrily to Tess until 2:30, at which point we both sign off; she to go to work, me, because I suddenly feel tired. So, I get into my bed and take a nap.

At 4:30 I wake up with a throbbing headache and a fever, my limbs are all woozy and my head bobbly. It was like, the nap of the plague.

That said, I waited until after I ate something, and then I took two dayquils. Now I feel at least mostly human.

Hurricane Wilma is now scheduled to get here at 2 AM on Monday morning as a category 2 (plus or minus one, they say) and school has been cancelled for Monday. Duh. I went on a giant saving spree last night- who had any idea that CDs held that much information? Not I.

So, I just sent a text message to Nica... and I got a phone call from the aliens who abducted her. And now that she's calling me again, I'm going to let it go to message. So there, aliens!

arghhh... "this whole week!" It's affecting (effecting?) my brain now! I'm stupid enough, I don't need this illness to destroy whatever little mental ability I have.

I just had a cold! It's not fair!

And the cold is definitely affecting my brain, too.
