1) Someone to Love- Fountains of Wayne There are few things I love more than a story song, and this one is really catchy.
2) Samson- Regina Spektor The slower version. Hauntingly beautiful.
3) Shahdaroba- Roy Orbison The song used at the end of Mad Men's third season, and it's amazing.
4) Sandcastles in the Sand- Robin Sparkles Robin Sparkles needs no explanation.
5) Summersong- The Decemberists As every song by the Decemberists, this one is glorious.

- the... actual show? I know, I'm dark and soulless for not loving 'Glee.' Somehow I must find a way to carry on.

- Dear Wes Anderson, I love you for putting "Hotel Chevalier" on iTunes for free. Really. I love you A LOT. I love you, Jason Schwartzman. And I want to know moooore.

- I am in love with three songs from commercials. One is "Sway," which I think it done in the commercial by Michael Buble, but I have the Rosemary Clooney version and looove. The second is Regina Spektor's "Musicbox" and it is amazing, and it would be my favorite if it weren't for Ingrid Michaelson's "The Way I Am," which is my current favorite song.

- Except now Peter Sarstedt's "Where do you go to (My Lovely)" might overtake it.

- I think I'm going to talk to an advisor tomorrow about changing my major.

- This also means I'm going to really up my game in French.

- Also, my test scores are dismal.

- But my Spanish teacher is delightful.

- I hate Season Five of Alias with a burning, fiery passion. It makes me so sad. My roommate thinks Vaughn is really dead, so she's super disillusioned, and I'm like, we have to finish! At least so that she knows that JJ didn't... entirely screw us over. Only mostly.
