Someone decided it would be a good idea to remake Charles Boyer and Ingrid Bergman's 1944 movie Gaslight. To this I say, are you crazy? How can you do something better with that storyline? That movie is ridiculously amazing as it is!

Today I went to drama and was greeted with this:

Marcos: So, Caitlin and I decided that you look like Rachel McAdams.
Me: *blink*
Marcos: You know, the girl from Red Eye and The Notebook and Wedding Crashers.
Me: ... Yeah, I know who she is. That's the second time I've gotten that.
Marcos: We think she looked really like you in Wedding Crashers, with the red hair.
Me: I get such random movie star comparisons. I get Jennifer Garner a lot.
Marcos: *cocks his head* Whoa, you do look like her!

That was a nice way to start my morning. I also wore my beautiful new Gap sweater shirt.

I think Philly likes me better now that Gaby's in the cabin, 'cause we chatted all during lunch. Also, I have no idea what I'm packing for Ft. Wilderness, and my play is two weeks away.

... in more pressing movie news, (because is what happens when you write out your entries on notepad because you're paranoid, and then peruse celebrity news sites before posting), Johnny Depp and Angelina are going to be in Wuthering Heights. Because, I mean, the hell? I am all for it- mostly because I think nothing will ever touch the Merle Oberon/ Laurence Olivier film version, because that one is too astounding for words expansive enough for human beings to understand.

That said, I'm not quite sure it'll work. I will definitely go to see it, but how can Angie play Cathy? And Johnny Heathcliff? He's broody enough but... I don't know. I bet he can do it. And Angelina sure is bitchy enough. But whoa, dude. Whoa.

Also, Hannah informed me that there's going to be a movie with Hugh Dancy and Olivier Martinez. Don't really care what it's about, really, I'll see it just for those two.

Yeah, I mean, I'm totally bitter about the fact that they're going to mess up one of my favourite books ever (and I mean that), but...Hugh Dancy? Olivier Martinez (who happens to look nothing like the book character he places)? I am SO THERE. Seriosuly.

And...maybe it'll be a good kind of bad.
