Damn, you're hard, Cryssa.

1. I'm looking forward to everything. To me it's like- you know in Pinocchio, how Pleasure Island is that island just for the boys and they can do whatever they want and it's geared towards them, etc. etc.? I feel that way, idealistically, about going to college. That it's going to be amazing and I'll make wonderful friends and everything will be meaningful and like a giant slumber party and... I'm out of my cotton pickin' mind, but whatever.

2. I will really, really miss seeing kids I've seen everyday for 12 years. Even though I'm not so close with them anymore, I've had the ability to talk to them whenever I wanted since first grade- and now I won't be able to. And not just them, but the kids I see everyday now. We're so clannish- the kids I've known since the french kids in elementary and middle school, the carver kids freshman year, and now the IB kids. We're so cloistered in and we know everyone and... it won't be like that anymore.

3. Pastelitos de guayaba. I don't know if they're specifically cuban, but oh my god. They are like heaven in your mouth. In english it's... guava pastries, I guess, and they're just... beyond anything.

4. Your question assumes that I have had one at all.

5. But... I can go days without talking to people. I don't talk to Becca and Talisa everyday, though I would like to. I don't talk to Nica everyday, but, like with Tata and Becca, it's fine, because nothing's lost between us. I usually talk to Nica at least once a day, and Hannah and Tess, and I get anxious if they're not online because then I start wondering if they died and it just goes downhill from there, but I'm not... horrified to not talk to them all the time. So while I'd rather talk to all my friends all the time, I can go without talking to all of them (not at the same time) for at least a day.

Awww, honey. You keep telling me I look like Jen Garner. And it's not true, but I love you for continually telling me that.

Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaantastic.

2. Oh, God. I- I don't think I can pick just one! There are categories! I mean, the best, most poignant moment ever is when Syd wakes up in "Conscious" and thinks it's a dream so she kisses Vaughn and yeah. The best OMG you're okay! moment is when Sark shoots at Vaughn and Syd shoots at Sark and then runs down to check on him, and leans her forehead against his shoulder in relief. The best mission moment is the whole "Are we on comms?" I can't even pick a best yearning moment because there's too many, or a best flirting moment.

So, um, in conclusion, I could no sooner pick a favorite SyVa moment than a favorite star in the heavens. Or whatever that quote is.


3. Oh, lord. Um, based on safety factors alone, I'd have to say Maddie Hayes. Dana gets abducted and cut into and all sorts of bad things. Maddie... doesn't. And their partners are cut from the same cloth, so they'd be equally fun. And though I love Dana with all my heart and soul... she doesn't get to say "Ad-di-SON."


4. AAAAAAAAAAARG! Why must you destroy my soul with your insolent questions! I can't pick just ONE, NITA!

- Diggin' Your Scene, Smashmouth: twice in Season One, and it's so snappy and acerbic and missiony and sets the tone and it's faaaabulous.

- A Dios le Pido, Juanes: Beginning of APO II, I believe, in season four, when Syd goes to Argentina to retrieve mi preciousita tan linda, Nadia, because I was all OMG THEY'RE USING JUANES AIEEEEE and even though he's from Colombia at least they got some South American to play.

- I Shall Believe, Sheryl Crow: Oh my god, when Vaughn's okay and Syd's so happy he is and he wants to explain about Alice and she doesn't want to hear it and then she leaves and Kendall talks to Vaughn and then Vaughn excuses himself to follow Sydney because they are so entirely completely in love and they need to make babies STAT and he must tell her immediately but- oh no! She's gone through... the door. So Vaughn just stops and smiles fondly at the door, knowing his beloved is beyond it and back in her world? Yeaaaaah.

- Angel, Sarah McLachlan: Syd's been stood up by Daddy, (boo hiss!) and goes to talk to Vaughn! And it's the first time Syd's actually reached out to Vaughn, and sure there's no one else, but it means she likes him! And she's so sad and he's so comforting and then they hold hands and I AM SUCH A SHIPPER FOR LIFE.

- My Skin, Natalie Merchant: I remember the commentary from this episode so well, because Ron's always like, they had me learn pages of dialogue and then they put music over it instead, but it was such an amazingly beautiful scene that way, and so poignant and the words went so well... oh, Emily!

- God Put a Smile Upon Your Face, Coldplay: SpySex. I mean, does it even need a reason? It's amazing. It sets the tone and it's all honey-colored and the light is the same color and... seeeex.

- She's Got You, Patsy Cline: Well, not only did they use Patsy, they used such an appropriate song, and it's Weiss and Syd talking about what she misses most, and it's Vaughn, and then as the song ends and says "She's got you," Lauren shows up and it's all, oh, music directors. Thank you for illuminating the darkness of our sight, because we did not know that Lauren had Vaughn! Because they're married! And Syd's got memories and that's it! Ha ha!

- Delicate, Damien Rice: At first, it seemed sooo inappropriate that they had this random soft strumming while Vaughn was killing people in a Korean prison, but then they went home and they were hugging people and the words! Oh dear sweet heavenly jesus! "We might kiss when we are alone" and "it's not that we're scared, it's just that it's delicate."

5. Actually, I don't. I am not so much a sock person- I am usually barefoot at home, and I wear flip flops a lot, and then when I wear sneakers it's usually the little ankle socks from Hanes that come in packs (and what? they're great and plentiful.) However, I did purchase a pair of socks from Ralph Lauren that have the little polo horse, and they're white with a pink horse, and... they somehow got a little hole in them. It makes me sad.

1. Oh, lord, I have no idea who I aspire to be. Like, I'd love to be able to say something important like, Mother Teresa or someone who... actually does stuff to help people... and I'd be content growing up to be a glamourous and wealthy famous person who can afterwards do stuff to help people while looking fabulous because I am a vain, vain girl, my friend.

2. *cries* I can't pick just one! I can't! It doesn't work that way!

I can... probably do it by season, though.

Season One: "Rendezvous." Hands down.
Season Two: I love the two "The Passage" episodes, and how can I not love "Phase One," but also? "A Dark Turn."
Season Three: "Conscious," because it was SO amazing and cool with all the memories and links and things.
Season Four: Oh MAN. I am just going to have to say "The Orphan" and just forget about "The Awful Truth" and "Detente" and "Welcome to Liberty Village".
Season Five: "The Horizon." I loved the flashbacks so much.

And, um, I'm sorry I had to give you such non-answer answers.
