Sep. 17th, 2009 10:59 pmNever Will I Ever meme: Name three fics you think I will never, ever, ever write. In return, I will attempt to write a snippet of one of them.
I can't imagine this will end well for me, but what the hell. Just try to keep it in fandoms I actually know.

Date: 2009-09-23 01:31 am (UTC)She was surprised by his desire to hold her close after sex. The majority of men she had been with were appreciative, but busy- once finished, they'd gotten up, dressed and out within five minutes. Sark kept her pressed to his chest, fingertips skimming up and down her back, carelessly complimenting her features. This is not at all what she had expected from him- she had imagined him dark and dangerous and exciting.
Syd/Sloane
When Sydney started at SD-6, Sloane had been careful. He didn't want to overwhelm her with attention all at once- he made her earn his praise, earn the proud pats on the shoulder and the kind smiles. Sydney had blossomed under his guidance, as he knew she would, until he knew that she would do whatever he asked.

I actually already wrote this, kind of! This is one of my favorite crack pairings.

Date: 2009-09-23 01:40 am (UTC)Jack met Emily on the national mall, her hair a crown of gold and eyes soft and beautiful. She's witty and charming, and he is interested enough to take her out twice. The first meal is at a small bistro, where the conversation goes as well as he could hope, but buoyed by the tinkle of her laughter. The second is a double date with Arvin and his latest girlfriend.

Brennan knew two things to be true: she loved Booth, and her work was suffering.
Syd/Will
"Put on your dancing shoes. We are going out tonight." Francie looked delighted with herself, and Sydney felt bad bursting her bubble.
"I can't tonight," she started, but Francie was already shaking her head.
"'Can't' is not an option. Charlie got us passes for that new club in Silver Lake." When Francie talks about plans, she is usually already in that moment- seeing herself out in the fuschia top she bought last week, alternating dancing with Sydney and Charlie, squealing when her favorite song came on.
"I can't, Fran. I'm doing something with Will."
"Will? That guy from bio? Isn't he kind of dorky?"
Syd smiled. "I think he's sweet. Anyway, I'm going over to his dorm and we're going to a movie or something."
"Are you sure? Because Charlie mentioned bringing a friend. He's supposed to be very hot."
Syd pauses for a second, but then Will's face comes to mind- and Syd shakes her head. "I'm good. You have fun, though."
