Heh, my situation was kind of similar- I was in a kind of intense academic program, and I was basically cocooned with the 100-odd other kids in the same boat, so we knew everyone and there wasn't too much drama but lots of schoolwork and I was already an internet nerd so... yeah. Not at all like what high school is like in movies or on TV except for maybe Rory Gilmore's.
