sunshine_queenSo, all in all, pretty good day. Got my badass progress report. Paid for my field trip ($12) and some more my New York field trip ($200 a piece for momma and I) Played Marcos's girlfriend in a readthrough of another play. Slacked off during math but did my homework, yay! Turned in my lab late with my bogus doctor's note. Looked really, really cute in my abercrombie & fitch gear. Kicked ass in my poem presentation in Khausinau.
Came home and was tired. So I sat down... and watched a whole lotta Alias. Like, most of 3.05 (Repercussions? I think so) and all of 3.06 (The Nemesis! 'Cause Not!Francie was there) and 3.07, which is definitely Prelude, and I know this because it has The Prelude Hug, which takes place in at Dover airfield and features Vaughn and Syd and a notkiss.
And there was totally this whole 'Breakfast Club' thing going on. Like, honestly. I skipped the first meeting in detention the hospital room and the April First story but, honestly? Later, after some mission or another (the necklace, white vs. black, good vs. evil, Syd vs. Not!Francie), Syd and Weiss walk up to their desks with Vaughn trailing behind them, and they start chatting and Lauren comes up to join them and I'm sorry, is that 'Don't you forget about me' playing in the background? I swear it is.
Those episodes featured Simon (you know, the love of my life); Javier, the stupid guy who crushed on Simon and consequently tried to off SpyDaddy and Sydarling and who was later killed by SpyDaddy and made to look like a suicide; Badass! SpyDaddy, who was just pullin' out all the stops; Smarmy double agent! Sloane, whom I love beyond all logical comprehension; Silly, sweet housewife! Lauren, who thought that she could snitch on Syd and not totally get ditched for it (love that scene) and looked really, really good while driving in Mexico; Driven mad by unknown forces! Vaughn, who actually tried to take on SpyDaddy; Uber geek! Marshall, who had nifty gadgets and nearly died after slapping Syd's ass; Buddyroo! Weiss who was all worried when Vaughn got stabbed (hee), offered bad advice during hockey and was adorable with Syd; Fuck-yo'-shit-up! Dixon, who had a chip on his shoulder involving Not! Francie (with good reason); and Syd! Who didn't cry in those episodes unless it was related to one of her damn freaky nightmares, which is totally understandable.
Taylah brought her baby sister home yesterday, and I heard her on the phone when she called me. Aww, baby Rustin. It's just sooo cute. I <3 babies.
Philly seems better, Janelle was okay, barely saw Heather, and Addy seemed pissed. Me? I feel better. Totally. Due in part to the Alias commercial last night. Totally. made. my. life.
