I am strong. I am invincible. I AM MADI.
Mar. 8th, 2005 07:39 pmI LIVE!
Good old perserverance, my friends. And I don't think I spelled that right. BUT OH WELL.
I LIIIIIVE.
This morning, mom turned on the computer, and it was dead. Like, wilted flower and all. Dead a doornail.
So, I come home this afternoon, and call the Dell people. Unhelpful person # 1 (Indian named 'Darren') was unhelpful and said that the computer was dead, and I was out of luck, but he'd let me talk to someone else.
Unhelpful person # 2 was Latin American "Emilio" who was obnoxiously condescending and made me yank out my computer desk so as to mess around with said dead harddrive, which I did ruthlessly.
Still didn't work.
So, I moped around. Watched 1.06 and 1.07 of Alias and moped some more. Had dinner with a side of moping. Was miserable. Announced miserably to my mother that I would wind up going to bed at NINE, and she suggested that I exchange my old computer from, like, three years ago, sans internet, from my bedroom to the sunroom and see if it would accept DSL.
Which it doesn't, BUT IT ALLOWS DIAL-UP!
MADI IS HERE, CHILDREN!
Please. IM me. I miss you. I love you. Kerlin? AntiqueSunshine, baby.
