This morning I woke up at eight to go to chem tutoring because IB rules my life. I went with Philly and Janelle, and then we met Addy there. Everyone came- I saw Galvez and Gabi, Chang and Carol and Tay Tay, a lot of Frenchies, and even Tommy. Tutoring truly is a social event.

Then Mom came and picked me up- after she saw and caught up with her "chicks" from NYC (Carol, Chang and Javi.) Went home, and then we went to GBS and got nailpolish. Then we went to Dadeland to have lunch at the Cheesecake Factory.

Our server was Nadia and Weiss's son. I mean, I am not even joking. I hissed to Mel right away, "Latin Weiss!" but it soon became apparent that he was only latin because Nadia was his mama.

It was disconcerting.

Then we shopped for forever. I hate to shop. I did, however, blow all my money (and some of mom's) on this gypsy skirt from XOXO. It is beyond beautiful.

Tonight I have to go to a meeting for children-of-alcoholics- Alateen, or something. I am less than thrilled.

We found out the Pope died in Macy's. Mom got all teary. I'm sad- because he was the Pope- but he was an old man and he was sick, and, honestly, who is gonna get into heaven faster than the holiest man on earth? He's probably chilling with Jesus as I type. So here's to you, Juan Pablo.

It's not exactly unexpected. He's been in really rough shape for a long time. About time he gets a rest.
