Apr. 28th, 2005 06:08 pmPreordered the Alias calendar. I was actually surprised to see that it was $10.34- the 2004 calendar cost me over $20, although I suppose that would be because I ordered it in January and it was in demand because they made too few.
Today was so much fun- I went to see The Syringa Tree at the Gablestage at the Biltmore. This was after I went to Campi's room to make up the Stat test and then start on the Quest from today that I missed. Carol and Chang came to get me before we left.
Let me just say this- I love hanging out with those two. They are immensely fun. I hung out with them all day, and they are just fantastic.
And then I found out the greatest news.
Our class isn't going to New York City again next year.
... We're going to LA.
As in, Los Angeles, California.
As in, the West Coast.
The ONLY PLACE I want to go more than Europe. The ONE.
I AM GOING TO GO TO CALIFORNIA!
... Next year. Or so.
I am dying to. Dying. I mean, I'll skip prom for it. And grad bash. I don't need it. But LA? I'll sell my soul and body for it.
Anyway, besides that, I have developed a horrifying affinity for the premise of next week's Alias. I mean, literally, I am disturbed at myself. Hello! It's incest! It's BEYOND WRONG.
And honestly, why isn't it Nadia? Why? It could've been. A non-relative playing his wife. HELLO.
I might need to view the AOL clip.
I think the sad thing about LJ is that you anticipate replies, and when you don't get them, it's depressing. Or maybe that's just me, and I'm not interesting.

Date: 2005-04-28 04:22 pm (UTC)The reason that Syd's being Irina and Gira's not is because Syd is the main character, hence it is assumed that Syd is automatically the most appropriate person for whatever the writers dream up. I am figuring this show out. :p again

Date: 2005-04-28 05:04 pm (UTC)Aaand I am so, so crazy looking forward to next week's Alias. Because--
1. It is the only thing keeping me sane amongst all the schoolwork
and
2. I'll take my J/I where I can get it. Even if it's . . . really, really wrong. And, strangely, I kind of love that it's Syd rather than Nadia, because Nadia's too new an addition to the cast for it to have the same emotional impact -- for me, at least -- and . . . er, let's just hope that nothing happens beyond the hand-kissing. Because I need me some J/I, but not that much.
And yay, LA! That is too cool.

Date: 2005-04-28 05:24 pm (UTC)And L.A.!! I've only been once myself and I was really young. If it wasn't a six hour drive away, I would totally go see you.
