Me: Why didn't Victor Garber win? No one is better than him!
Mel: This is ridiculous!
Me: NO ONE IS BETTER!
Mel: HE PLAYED JESUS!
Other than that, the one time they showed Jen on TV, I missed it. Dammit.
Mel: Know what she should name her baby?
Me and Mel in unison: Victoria.
My mom has so far gotten right the three awards she's heard. Every single one. I'm waiting for her to loyally say Jennifer Garner when the time comes, as she was in the shower and let me down for Victor.
... Oh, wow. Nica showed me a picture of Jen. She looks just... amazing. All glowy and beautiful and bonjour, has anyone seen her boobs? Pregnancy agrees with Mrs. Affleck.
I bet I have like, a hundred things to do that I'm just completely ignoring. Sigh. Idjit.

Date: 2005-09-18 06:28 pm (UTC)Jen looks so adorable and pretty and completely glowing all the time. Being pregnant doesn't make her all scary, like some people. *coughBritneyCOUGH*
Darnit, now I kind of want to go watch the Emmys instead of study for Chem.
RESIST! I MUST RESIST!

Date: 2005-09-18 06:42 pm (UTC)Jen is so completely cute. And Brit was scary. Even scarier, though? Now she's no longer pregnant. Now she's a mommy. Oh. Em. Gee.
RESIST. Studying it importante!

Date: 2005-09-18 07:40 pm (UTC)Oh, God. Mommy!Brit. Poor little Preston. It's all so, so wrong.
And I did resist! And studied for like twenty minutes! And then had to watch The Parent Trap! I had to. And, oh man, the scene in the kitchen at the end. *dies a thousand deaths from the greatness* I am overwhelmed with the romantic-ness of it all. Old movies are romantic in ways that new movies just can't be. With all the swelling music and general loveliness.
And, um, the parents in that movie have great . . . chemistry.
So really, it's pretty much like I'm studying. I am studying chemistry. In a way.
