Wow, y'all. How I've missed the simplicity of DSL, AIM and IE.

I'm at my uncle's house, on his lovely, lovely computer. No one's online, of course, which is just my luck, but I'll survive. Last night Tess and I had to resort to emailing each other. :-(

Today I saw "The Legend of Zorro," which was basically Alias in 1850s California with Catherine Zeta-Jones as Syd. And... Antonio Banderas as, like... okay, so not exactly Alias. But there were a lot of fun almost-Aliasness.

Doesn't look like we're going to have school Monday, as I'm still without power and so is a significant chunck of Miami-Dade County, without power for stoplights and escuelas and the like, there is not going to be school. I MISS school. And they're only going to take these days out of our vacation days later, which is a whole lot of no fair.

People. Sign on. Please.

Hey dude! It doesn't look like there's going to be school for me either Monday. I think they're going to make an announcement tomorrow. So I bet Xmas vacation is going to be incredibly short this year :(

I don't miss school though. I miss the people and some of my teachers, but I don't miss the work or the waking up early. But I've been able to see a chunk of friends in the last couple of days, so ... I'm enjoying myself.

I <3 The Mask of Zorro. (OMG that tango scene!!!) I'm not sure how much faith I have in this new one though. The movie theater here doesn't have power yet, but if it does tomorrow I'm going to go see it.

I read reports earlier that our county has all of our schools power-ized, and now the problem is the stoplights. Because teenage drivers in Miami are idiots and will kill themselves and others sans stoplights.

I WANT POWER BACK.

The movie was really good, I enjoyed it. Not as great as the other one, but a pretty decent showing.

There were a couple schools that may have power but there was too much damage to allow students back. The roof of John I. Leonard like caved in! (Well, that's what I heard anyways.)

I don't want to go back to school. I keep thinking of all the tests that my teachers scheduled for the first day we get back. And plus, there's that literary criticism project. But I also want to have a winter break. I think they've already decided to take that Wednesday before Turkey day and a couple winter break days from us.
