io, i'm here, in new york, and i'm on this faulty dial-up that hate hate hates me and things aren't going so well. i just got booted off. there's a storm and now i'm here alone and GAH. i was just talking to tess and then boom. nothing. gone.

can i go home yet?

wish i was there

today:

got up at 4:50 after getting about thirty minutes of sleep. we were supposed to leave at 5:20, we wound up leaving around 5:35. the result? we get to the airport- which, for some reason, is hell, because everyone decided flying at six o'clock on a tuesday morning was a swell idea- and we totally caught our flight by the skin of our teeth. literally. we were the last people to board.

we got breakfast in atlanta, and i slept most of the way to albany. we were here by 11:55. which is absolutely insane. mare mare picked us up.

... and then we were here at gram's. today wasn't bad, i guess, but we didn't see anyone outside of gram, mare and princetta. kate and her family came home tonight from boston, but we won't see them 'til tomorrow, and that's when dad comes up.

i had a lovely nap this afternoon. it was delicious.
