sunshine_queenOkay, so this should be a hella long update.
Hello, I am alive! I am still bandaged within an inch of my life, but I'm basically off the real heavy medication now- no more Demerol, morphine or Percocets at the moment. I go to the doctor's office tomorrow to get unwrapped and to actually see what's been done and what they look like.
Everyone's been so nice to me- Becca visited me at the hospital and brought me beautiful roses and chocolates, Talisa came yesterday to keep me company while everyone else was at Natali's engagement party, and she brought me dinner and all sorts of other yummies and kept me entertained while I watched, oh, something like 9 hours of 'What Not To Wear.'
As for the surgery... I am no longer part of the I've Never Been Hospitalized Club, because boy was I hospitalized. And how.
It mostly sucked- although while waiting I caught the end of "13 going on 30," which was such a good omen! Especially after watching Alias before I left to calm my nerves.
Being put under anaesthesia is the weirdest thing ever. I remember some things before, and then I woke up in the recovery room, and it hurt, and then my mom was there, and then suddenly I was in my room and my dad and sister were there, and it was so weird, because there was no actual movement in between.
I slept a lot. And watched a lot of TV, including "The American President" twice on TV. I LOVE that movie, btw. And drank SO much water 'cause I was thirsty for a million years.
As for the actual boobs- my mom saw the doctor's pictures of them and said they look great, but I'll let you all know tomorrow.
