Of Billy Joel and Porn

sunshine_queenToday was a nothing special. Hung out in Holmes, mostly quietly; went to the library to talk to Vidaña during TOK about Bright Futures (100%, baby!), went back to Scott to talk more about ethics; then in history we sang "We Didn't Start the Fire" and saw a porn.
Well, I guess Mahoney's was special.
Started out ordinary- we listened to Billy Joel perform WDStF, then we read the lyrics and went over all the people and events. I got to show off my nerdiness brilliantly. Honestly, I don't know where half of my trivial knowledge comes from, but it astounds myself and others.
So, we're searching for the WDStF music video, and Fei gets the idea to check his history on the computer, 'cause earlier classes had watched it. Finally, she tells Jacob, who was on the computer, to click a link.
And a porn ad pops up. Like, graphic, splayed, naked women. A few seconds later the X-Block showed up- but oh my god. Poor Mahoney was beet red and mortified and for our part, we were all pretty horrified. The link actually said Billy Joel, We Didn't Start the Fire vid or something, but it ended with 77babes or something. For the rest of the class we'd be doing whatever and Mahoney would stop and grimace.
Went to see the doctor; he said he wasn't going to remove my stitches yet but that things looked good, so yaaaay.
Also, Tess gave me Nadia clips so I can make a vid to "Out Tonight." It's totally the Nadia song.
In other news, I am going to be gone alllll Saturday. I have to go to IEs to cheer people on at FIU Saturday morning, my Madrina's bridal shower at four, and then Janelle's birthday dinner at seven or eight.
