Jan. 16th, 2006 09:51 pmYesterday Nica and I saw Casanova, which was absolutely lovely in its own way. As in, it had enough violence and fights to keep me happy, explosions by way of fireworks, romance, a beautiful Heath Ledger, and LENA OLIN.
And I thought there'd be like, five minutes of Lena Olin all together, but oh, was I mistaken. There was lots of Lena! Certainly enough Lena to keep me happy! Ay, how I love my Lena!
So I liked Casanova. You got a problem?
Also, we saw Janelle at the theatre. And I thought I was going to be so sad, because of all the friends of mine Nica would meet, it'd be Janelle, but luckily Becca came home last night so we went out to dinner with her tonight and we all got along famously and they took sides against me and it was nice. We took pictures. It was fun.
I'm going in to school late tomorrow after I drop Nica off.
I fell asleep during an episode of the X-Files about a magician, but then we watched "Full Disclosure," (I'd forgotten how much I liked that episode) because it was on today but I needed to watch my two hours of Felicity on WE and today Noel got married to this crazy latin chica and Felicity made Ben move into her and they both hated it because Felicity "impulsively" (.... stupidly) got an apt. to live in with Ben without, oh, asking Ben first and I love Weiss. And Kimberly the Pink Ranger. And omg Noel.
Seriously, why is JJ so appealing to me? And of all the JJs, why couldn't I like the current one he's doing? Like, you know, LOST. Or something.

Date: 2006-01-17 03:59 am (UTC)JJ is an appealing man. I think it's the glasses.
Quasi-randomly, did you ever download the lost episode of Alias? Because omg I can't stop picturing a man as Sydney instead of Jen. Curse those pesky things like finals and studying because I am overcome with the urge to go cleanse my mind by watching Alias s1.

Date: 2006-01-17 04:19 am (UTC)JJ appeals to me because... I'm his target audience. I really am. And I fall for it hook, line and sinker. (Nica: Except for Lost.)
And yes, I did. It was really funny, because Man!Syd was all flirty with Non!Vaughn and Non!Vaughn was all, please leave me alone, you scare me.
GO CLEANSE YOUR MIND WITH SOOTHING SEASON ONE.

Date: 2006-01-17 04:25 am (UTC)Or The Fountainhead.
But I choose Chemistry because The Fountainhead is a zillion times more disturbing than Man!Syd.
Non!Vaughn. Hee hee.
I wish he had done the forehead wrinkles. You'd think that would be a given!

Date: 2006-01-17 05:14 am (UTC)And Ayn Rand is so not my favorite.
... Nothing was more disturbing than man!Syd, except for, oh, maybe the episode of XF that Nica just made me watch. Meh. "Folie a deux" scared the crap out of me.
And he non!Vaughn. Not NotVaughn, though, he was in Nocturne.
Not all men are naturally endowed with such beautiful forehead wrinkles.

Date: 2006-01-17 11:59 pm (UTC)See, I have no feelings about Sienna one way or another, and while she was... charming in this movie with her pretty dyed hair and the fact that her mama was Lena... I just felt I sorta lost her in the rest of the goings on. Like, there's Sienna, going to find the old guy- OMG THE LITTLE PIGGY!
