So, Nita just destroyed me with this godawful wonderful Syd/Jack vid that totally made me cry. A lot. I thought I was healing over the whole Jack thing, but then I totally substituted my Dearly Departed fic for the ending of the actual show and be reminded of the finale? Oh my god. I totally remember why I completely didn't care about Irina when that whole thing went down, and it was because I was so emotionally decimated at Syd and Jack's goodbye that there was no room for anything else. And there still isn't.

Um, other than having my soul shredded, I did my laundry today and did a whole lotta math. I'm still not even done, but I did a lot. And my wildlife class is cancelled for tomorrow, which rocks, because it means I get to sleep later. And all the mystery money from my scholarship has settled into its rightful place (like, tuition and books and my bank account) which quite a relief.

I have to write my ficathon fic and... oh boy. Doom.

Aww, I'm sorry! I promise I didn't mean to shatter your soul! But . . . dude. I had to share. 'Cause we were getting ready to leave for the fair yesterday, but I was watching that in my room with my door closed, and I was all teary and ready to kill someone if they interrupted me before the vid ended.

But oh, the Alias finale was just devastating in every aspect. Curse it. I will never be okay. 'Cause, like, wasn't Alias, first and foremost, a show about family? But then . . . they killed her whole family! And they sucked Mommy's soul out first! And no one got nearly upset enough about poor Nadia! And, I mean, okay, granted, you've got SpyFam 2.0 going on with Syd and Vaughn and Isabelle and Baby Jack, but . . . but . . . it's not the same. I refuse to accept that as a happy ending.
