Sep. 28th, 2006 11:35 pmIn and out of funk-titude. It's really getting tiresome.
I got up early this morning to retrieve my package from home. In it was my new camera, which is pretty and eats up batteries like a mofo but takes nice pictures.
After class Marisa and I went to Publix, going through it in record time, (like, twenty minutes of, which is unheard of) and to Moe's for dinner, all to be home at eight in time for
The show was just too cute. America Ferrera is just too cute for words, and Betty tries so hard, and she's adorable. I loooved Papa Suarez, and her sister Hilda was a treat, and her gay nephew was just too much. Also? Vanessa Williams being evil? It's just too delightful. She's all subtly malicious to Daniel and heh. Daniel's kind of a bag of suckdom, but he might get better.
And Salma Hayek showing up to play the maid on the novela on TV at Betty's house? Like, I read about it in the papers, but seeing it happen is just too funny for words.
And then when they all said "Betty" menacingly or longingly or whateveringly at the end? It was so from the novela!
At any rate, I really enjoyed it.
And because we all need some happiness:

My yellow lillies.

Date: 2006-09-29 04:01 am (UTC)I love/miss Publix. But I have Ukrop's, so it's more than a fair trade.
I'm glad you liked Ugly Betty! I think I must be the only one who does not like America Ferrera. She was cute on The View this morning, but, eh, I could do without.
I like the flowers.

Date: 2006-09-29 05:03 am (UTC)I've really never seen America Ferrera in anything before, so I had no previous feelings for her. But yeah, usually you're the only one with strange hates.
Thank you. I like them too.
(WHY AREN'T YOU IMING ME? You're obviously online.)
