So, I live. The weekend home was nice. Natali's wedding was absolutely gorgeous, and we kind of got over the OMGTOOYOUNG (she's 21 and he's 25) mini fit we were having once we were actually in their presence. Because they're damn cute together. And I got to read a passage I'd seen for the first time the day before, and I was the first reader and no one knew exactly what I was supposed to do but I triumphed, dammit!

On Saturday my family and I finaaaaaaally went to get passports because, dammit, it's time. And we're seriously looking into winter break plans, so yaaay. The Ma, Mel, Tata and I went to see Marie Antoinette, which was surprisingly good. The more I think about it the more I like it. Lots of factual errors, though.

Then today I woke up and got a manicure and pedicure with Talisa and then got on a bus that took forever to get up here and now I'm finally home! Hooray. The girl I sat next to was named Nadia, but I managed to refrain from saying anything dumb. Unlike my mother, who met my cousin OE's new girlfriend, Sadie, and promptly referenced Funny Girl.

And in other news, the TV my parents have makes me never want to leave. I watched Detente on the big pretty screen and oh man. Syd was bigger than me. It's ungodly.
