So, paper was finished last night. Today during math I thought all about the fic I wanted to write yesterday. So right now I am sitting down to write.

Me: Hiiiii.
Brain: Erm. Hi.
Me: Oh no you don't.
Brain: Meep!
Me: Ideas! Come back!
Brain: Why don't you write these awkward sentences instead?
Me: Because I want the good stuff from before! Bring it back!
Brain: I'll see what I can do.

It's cold. 62 degrees is really, really cold.

ETA: I forgot about

Wow, was I not too thrilled.

1) Yaaaay, Santos, but... hello. The kid is as flamboyant as Carmen Miranda and they did nothing with Santos' reaction to that. It would've been great. Instead he runs off as the phantom and... nothing. Also, not enough Santos. At all.

2) The lawyer thing. So, are they going to send Papa Suarez to Mexico now? Or will Santos have to gamble more and get more dinero for his lady love? And honestly, I so liked Leah! And she's totally evil! And that really upsets me!

3) OMG SALMA HAYEK. While I love and adore her more than I can possibly express, what the hell did they do to poor Sofia? There she was, this empowered woman who did what she wanted and... who wants to get married and have babies. And not just get married and have babies, she wants to get married and have babies with Thor. Well, Hunter, who has, in the word of Meryn Cadell, the "alpine-ski, chiseled-features and that sort of blank look that passes for deep thought or at least the notion that someone's home." And that really annoys me. She's all, yeah, Daniel, I don't love him, but he's... well, perfect, and he'll marry me NOW, and I'll get my kids NOW and I will pass up a real opportunity with you because... well, you won't marry me now. And I need to get married now. Otherwise, what good am I? Shut up, writers! What happened to the Betty mantra?

4) That said, HEEEE, HUNTER! He was like, entirely Zoolander. He figured out that there was more to life than just being really, really, really ridiculously good-looking. He was great. And Daniel was great, except for when he was being annoying. But watching him attempt to salsa was hysterical.

5) So... Hilda makes bad choices. Also, I don't see how she can constantly be bitching at Betty for not pulling her weight because (A) Betty is working so that she can HELP SUPPORT HER FAMILY and (B)... well, really all I have to say here is that she got knocked up twelve years ago. I don't think it quite fits in like I want it to. But it amuses me, so I'll allow it. Then again, I do not think sleeping with Santos was a bad choice. Obviously, he has a thing for her, and he is sooo hot and I heart him. Please, TPTB, if he's going to be a jerk and show up with a girlfriend, let that girlfriend be Mia Maestro in a cameo? Please? Or more, I'll take more.

6) Shut up, Fey Sommers. I hate that whole plot line. I hate that they buried a guy alive.

7) Marc is in love with Daniel! Hee! And the whole thing of him and Amanda in Wilhemina's office was met with mixed feelings because, yes, fabulous fun to be had by all, but I don't like Amanda much and gom, what idiots, making that call.

8) Whaaaat is up with next week's promo? I am totally in awe.

It's cold. 62 degrees is really, really cold.

...

We're all sitting here praying for snow soon, because it's been 60 for a week and we're freaking out. NOT NATURAL.

I live in Florida! This is super cold! I'm from South Florida, even, and we live on the beach, and that keeps it temperate! In Miami it's 77 degrees!

62 degrees? 62? Madi. Madi. 62 is a balmy summer's day. 62 is unimaginably blissful. Inconceivably warm. Try three. THREE. Where it's not safe to wear lipstick because your mouth will freeze and FALL OFF.

Oh, I so want to bring all you warm-climated people to Alaska someday and then just . . . laugh. It's a very cruel impulse, but one that amuses me so.

Also, WRITE! I am down with that course of action. Come onnn, brain!

... A balmy summer day?

You cannot be serious.

62 is not summer, it's HELL.

Also, I will never to Alaska during the winter because I would die. However, the urge to have you come and experience summer, say, anywhere but there is strong. It gets hotter'n hell here in Gainesville. You would melt. AND I WOULD LAUGH.

You savour that 62, Madi! You remember that in some places in the world, that is unimaginably heavenly. Sixty-two. Siiiiiiigh.

And, haha, I would totally melt. Completely. I'm so bad at warm weather. If it gets higher than 80, I am a goner. I like to say that that makes me a genuine Alaska chick and stuff, except . . . I can't really handle cold weather either.

So, yeah, 62 is about my ideal temperature! (Savour it! Savour.)
