Feb. 17th, 2007 09:00 pmI am so concerned about my Linguistics midterm on Monday that I am studying on a weekend for the first time since I was preparing for my Chem IB exam. I didn't even study on a saturday night for the rest of my IB exams, just the chem one. That's how concerned I am. Because I really, really don't know this stuff. This is the more mathematical part of linguistics as well, I feel, but it's still memorization, so I plan on not having any problems. SO THERE.
In addition to that midterm, I have an oral exam in Spanish on thursday/friday (we have to sign up for it), a paper due for Human Sexuality due Friday, and my Comparative Politics midterm on Thursday. Le sigh. At least it's kind of spread out.
I watched both "Dark Passage" and "Key Largo,"
kerlin, and I have to say, I definitely liked Dark Passage better. The funny thing about Key Largo was that they seemed to have a decen grasp of Florida geography until the end: it would take forever to reach Georgia from Key Largo- at least seven hours now, and that was when the speed limit is 70 and cars are able to go that fast. And going to Cuba on a boat just after a hurricane is a damned stupid idea. But anyway. Good movies all, but in order of my preferences: To Have and Have Not, Dark Passage, Key Largo, The Big Sleep.
(I don't care about phonetics! Dammit.)
