So, I watched Amends and... and really? I was rooting for Miss Calendar the whole time. Buffy had to die? Listen to Miss Calendar! Angel had to become evil? LISTEN TO MISS CALENDAR. She's so pretty and snarky and fabulous! And I'm even coming to terms with the outfit she's stuck wearing for the rest of her life. I told Hannah, and I'll say it again, if Miss Calendar had known she was going to spend eternity in that outfit, she might have dug something better out of her closet. That said, OMG GILES. He must have known what Angel meant when he said "Can't you see her?" and that just breaks my heart. And I do so love when people bring up her death. Not in a yay I need to be reminded way, but more in a yay people remember her way. If I had my way, she would be mentioned forever. And ever. Including Season Seven, when Giles diiiid bring up Jenny in spite of the cut line. Whatever, writers. I know what you intended. Miss Calendar Love. I dig that. (Then again, I squeed like crazy when it said Robia LaMorte as Jenny Calendar, even though I knew she was coming. Aieee Miss Calendar!)

Also, I am very VERY angry at Willow and Xander for being stupid. And for hurting Cordy. Mostly for hurting Cordy cause she's my second favorite girl on the show and I love her and stupid, stupid Xander and Willow! (And when Giles saved the world even in the alternate world? Just proves that badassity transcends realms, worlds and planes of being. Giles ftw.)

And what the hell kind of Christmas miracle was that? Snow? It snowed? That is what made everything better? Snow is not that cool, people, and it didn't appear to be the magical snow that the Good Witch of the Snow sprinkled on Dorothy and co, so why was suddenly everything right? I mean, Merry Christmas to all, but- but why? Why snow? And why was the sun rising if Faith and Mama Summers and Giles hadn't gone to bed? Willow and Oz, sure, but Giles? And Mama Summers? They need to sleep!

And- and I'm kind of in shock that I wrote fic for it and I might have to write more and my stars. Where is this coming from?

And, oh, poor Cordy. :( That will never not make me really super sad, because I love Cordy/Xander like crazy. And I just love that if Willow/Xander had happened a year earlier, everyone would have been giddy and awestruck and joy would have reigned supreme forever and ever amen, but then by the time that they actually got around to it, it just brought woe and devastation! Because that is just how this show works, and it's cruel, and I love it in its mercilessness.

Wasn't The Wish cool? I looove that episode. It's all dark and depressing and hardcore and there's Anya! Even if she's not quite Anya-y yet. I love Anya like craaaaazy. And, ooh, Lover's Walk, in spite of the SUPREME WOE, is fun too, because there's poor heartbroken drunk Spike and that's never not fun. And ooh, Faith is there now! What are you thinking of Faith?

Oh, it is still entirely surreal to me that you are actually WATCHING BUFFY. Madiiiii! My heart is very full at this moment.

LOL, the whole Willow/Xander thing was ironic that way. A year earlier, everyone would've been onboard, and it would've been great. But nooooo. Nooo, we had to HURT CORDY. (I am a big Cordy/Xander person.)

And The Wish was super enjoyable, especially since, well. Giles is the coolest person on the planet, in our universe or another. And I really enjoyed drunk sad Spike because he was hysterical. I looove Spike.

Faith is okay. I don't dislike her, I don't have overwhelming amounts of love for her.

My heart is full too. FULL OF MISS CALENDAR AND GILES MAKE IT STOPPPP.

I really hate how like, after Amends, they never ever mention Jenny again. Like, later on in season 4, they talked about Angel and what happened 'when he went bad' and they were like, "People died." BUT THAT'S IT. "PEOPLE." Like Jenny is just "people."

I wish they could have brough her back season 7. I still can't believe they never bothered to have any dead people talk to Giles. He's so good for that type of thing! But no, Robia LaMorte got all born-again and didn't want to play the incarnation of evil. Come on! Pfft.

Cordelia! I really honestly thought they had killed Cordelia the first time I saw "Lover's Walk", cuz of that funeral scene at the end? Poor Cordy.

I *heart* Bizaro!Giles. I love how scruffy and idealistic he is. And he saves the world! Yay!

I like Jenny's outfit. The snow... not so much. SO did not even look like real snow.

Overall, I kinda hate "Amends." Stupid snow, stupid wigs, stupid moustaches, stupid Buffy bangs, stupid accents, stupid dream sex. Giles is the only redeeming feature of the entire thing. He's kickass.

And Bizarro!Giles RULES! "Because it has to be" - definitely one of my favourite moments in the entire series.
