- Feels that pearls are the most becoming jewelry for a lady.
- Could never think of a suitable present for Sydney, so mostly just left a birthday card with a check within and sent flowers. He did, however, sign his cards Daddy until Sydney arched her eyebrows and said that she hadn't called him that in a long time on her fourteenth birthday.
- Had a mother named Ava.
- Grew up without much.
- Worked his way through an Ivy League school.
- He wanted to name his daughter Anne, but lost that fight.
Miss Calendar:
- Hates wearing flats.
- Her favorite color is red.
- Rupert really, really isn't her type.
- Loves The Bangles.
Anya:
- Does not understand pop music.
- Does not understand headstones and why some people choose to visit them.
- Gets suntanned easily.
- Can give amazing massages.
Sydney:
- Her favorite Beatle is Paul.
- Takes her coffee with so much cream and sugar that it's practically white.
- Her favorite flower is a tulip.
- Hates to admit it, but she loathed Anna Karenina. She feels bad about it.
- Was really positively certain that she had the best mother ever growing up.
- Her favorite composer is Beethoven.
- Prefers fresh scents to heavy florals.
- Loves the movie "Pretty Woman," but usually just catches it when it's on TV.
- Drinks chai tea most frequently.
- Her favorite chore is folding laundry.

Emily Gilmore:
- Can speak fluent French and a smattering of Italian.
- Is the oldest child.

Will:
- LOVES the X-Files and has a huge crush on Gillian Anderson.
- Had a dog named Ranger when he was a kid.
- gets airsick occasionally.
- Can recite all dialogue from the Star wars movies. But only the original trilogy.
- Is very serious about getting his wife to name his future daughter Leia. It can be spelled Leah if she wants, but the name must stand.
- His painter neighbor is named Christine, and she is very petite and dark-haired and he calls her Teeny. Teeny has five brothers and was going to be an engineer but... decided she liked art better. Whoops.
- Will also married Teeny.
- Will really, really hates that they named him Jonah. Why couldn't they have named him something cool, like Anderson or James or- or anything suave at all?
- will eat anything. At all. No matter how questionable.

Peyton:
- Her favorite drink is cappuchinos.
- Realized that there were worse things than pretending that Rachel Gibson was your best friend.
- Got straight As in psychology.
Nadia:
- As a child, she assumed her mother was dead and therefore turned all her prayers to having her father find her.
- Adopted the Virgin Mary as a maternal figure.
- Has to say her prayers before going to sleep out of habit.
- She could have been very, very happy with Cesar.
- Would occasionally speak Spanish with Sydney around the house, and it those times thrilled her.
- Her favorite novel is Cien Años de Soledad by Gabriel García Márquez
- Still feels more Argentine than anything else.
- A bandoneón sounds like home to her.
- Gets a childish delight from buying pretty things.
- Loves to wear high heels.
- Her favorite flower are tiger lillies.

Weiss:
- Has two sisters, Elizabeth and Evelyn, both older.
- His grandparents emigrated from Germany and learned English, but spoke German between themselves. He took German in high school and continued it in college and impressed his grandmother by calling her to speak to her in her native tongue.
- Weiss stopped going to temple when he went to college but usually lies to his mother about it.
- His mother can definitely tell that he's lying.
- Likes tuna fish sandwiches best.
Sark:
- Hates the Russian language because it reminds him of his father.
- Is often annoyed by the way he feels for Derevko women.
- Hates animals.
Vaughn:
- It's very important to him that his children speak French.
- Is a history buff.
- Renée kept him from going over the edge after Sydney died.
- Drinks his coffee black. Learning Irina did too was uncomfortable and bizarre.
- As Syd's handler, he'd stay up nights and order appliances he had no use for.
Rory:
- Wants to live abroad, but wonders if she could ever really settle down outside of Stars Hollow.
- Sometimes really wishes that her name wasn't Lorelai.
- Occasionally marvels at how many pop culture references she can fit into a sentence. At last count, her top score was a six, but her mother can fit ten into a well-worded, if a bit long, sentence.
Spike:
- Sometimes writes really bad poetry in his head about Buffy.
- Loves to sleep. Anytime, day or not.
- Has made a list of all the people he wants to kill if he were ever to get the damn chip out of his head. He plans their deaths in his free time.
Giles:
- The set of green mugs he uses were Miss Calendar's.
- He was in charge of cleaning Miss Calendar's apartment after her death.
- After Buffy (and Dawn,) his favorite of the Scoobies is Willow, initially because of how she was Miss Calendar's favorite.

Irina:
- Liked The Doors.
- Cut Katya's hair for her when they teenagers, but Katya took the heat.
- Feared her mother more than she loved her.
- Slept with Sloane in an effort to let the KGB see she was still useful in the US.
- Was allowed to see Nadia for exactly an hour after she was born. Afterwards, the guards teased her about the fate of her daughter.
- In her head, she called Nadia "Ava."
Lauren:
- Was petrified of her mother and never felt good enough.
- Went to an all-girls boarding school.
- Can plan and execute perfect dinner parties.
Rachel:
- Was the neighborhood babysitter.
- Her favorite alcoholic beverage is a peach bellini.
