sunshine_queenI had my first real french conversation class, and I LOVE the teacher. She reminds me a lot of my friend Philly's mom. She was so French, it was just like all of my teachers! Oh, I do so love French class. At least, I like the teachers, not so much the work.
So much work. And so much money going to the books I need to buy to do the work. Sigh.
My mom's best friend Mrs Hoppe went down to Miami to send her daughter off for a semester in Florence (yeah, you can't hear it, but the jealousy level here is AMAZINGLY HIGH) and came home with all kinds of goodies for me, including but not limited to: my laundry hamper, my posters, a microwave and the aero mattress because Becca is a liar and said she'd visit but hasn't made plans with me. So, one of you all needs to come and sleep on this damn mattress.
Anyway, here are pics of my revamped room!
Right as you walk in, it's a map of France and a French advertisement for cognac. I LOVE the French map, Mrs Hoppe got it for me and it's gorgeous. Also up, my, hee, "french" board, which is what it's called when there are ribbons to hold the pictures up. It kinds of sucks because pictures fall and there's a pic of me and Nica that fell so far down I don't think I'll see it again til I move, but whatever. I have others.
Fridge, dehumidifier (which is my favorite thing ever), recyclable bin, and posters of Dirty Dancing and Flaming June. Also, my stuffed animal orgy.
Divid tower, mirror, and my Hollywoodland poster. I loved that movie. Unbreak my heart, Ben!
Over my bed, same line up as last year. For some reason, however, this wall is shorter (?) and therefore Moulin Rouge is kind of bent. It's okay, though. Also, my hats on hooks!
