... and not at the Circle K.

Adam Kesher : What's going on Cynthia?
Cynthia : It's been a very strange day.
Adam Kesher : And getting stranger.

Whoo. What a rush.

After I left last night, I hung around with mom. She had come home from the grocery store with a whole bunch of junk food for the two of us, 'cause we were having a "slumber party"- Mel was at Cari's and Dad's at the hospital.

So, she makes a pizza for dinner and me? I can't even eat it. It looked totally awesome and probably tasted delish but the smell and the idea of eating it was just gross. Mom insisted that I eat, so I had a few pieces of bread.

Then she fixed herself a sundae (which, again, I didn't feel like eating :-() and we went into her bedroom to watch 'Mulholland Drive'.

Whoa.

That's all I can say.

WHOA.

It was like, trippy logs to the nth degree. What I learned from that movie:

  • Justin Theroux's real voice? Just as great as his accents.
  • Justin Theroux is hotter than the center of the earth. No, really. Even with the glasses. *melt*
  • Naomi Watts is Nicole Kidman's doppelganger. It is seriously eerie how similiar those two look. And sound. And act. Whoa.
  • Melissa George? EEEEEEEEE. EEEEEEEEE. She was so cute! She lip-synched and then she made out with a girl but it didn't matter! I was like eeee Lauren! I heart Lauren!
  • Ann Miller was like, a zillion years old, but still looked and sounded the same as she did in Kiss Me, Kate in 1956 or so, so DAMN.

The way it was set up was awesome- I was scared and intrigued and shocked and indignant and shocked and cheering and shocked and totally melty because Nica was right! Justin was in it a lot! Eeee!

Seriously, though: really cool. It's a movie that makes you think.

Mom fell asleep during the movies. Let me tell you something: My mother has never fallen asleep during a movie in her life. She did it because she'd only gotten four hours of sleep the night before, but I was very pissed anyway. But oh well.

I've been poppin' dayquils and nyquils like whoa. I love them. They make me feel better. I think I'll have a sundae for breakfast.
