I DO NOT WANT TO WATCH THE OSCARS.

It takes nine gajillion years, I'm not too passionate about any of the awards/nominees, and, the awards I care about are at the end of the night anyway. So the fact that my mother and sister are treating this like I have decided to to reject Christian values and join a cult is really infuriating. Plus, I am watching Bones, which is clearly of more interest.

(And Jen's face looks funny, and it breaks my heart. What did you do, beautiful?)

I only saw Jen for a second on the TV. My friend Monica then said "Jen's face looks... off." So I looked, and I totally concurred. Out of thirty-odd pics, only one looked 'normal' to me. I loved her bling and I was okay with the dress and her hair, but... something was different about her face.

She did look odd. :( I think it was the hair and the way it framed her face. Considering all the wigs they put her in on Alias, THIS was the hairstyle that didn't work for her?

Her face also filled out with pregnancy, so she looks different and very non-Sydney. Still gorgeous, of course, but not quite the same.

It was worth hanging in there for me to see Jen cry when Robert Boyle was given his honorary Oscar. That was adorable.

I totally agree. I thought that pregnancy changed her face (and my friend was all, oh, there's another reason never to have a baby,) and sometimes she looked super gorgeous and Jen-like and other times I was like, Jen? What is up?

Her face DID look funny! I don't care what anyone else says! :P It looked very... very botoxed to me. Which is hard for me to accept, because I know she's very much into being natural and all. But it look like she'd been to the botox clinic or maybe gotten some weird facial or something. And the hair and the makeup weren't helping.

Her figure looked amazing, though, as always. Though I'm sure she's sad that her self-proclaimed "fascinating" pregnancy boobs are all gone.

I thought it was pretty funny. Boring, like always. But Jon Steward did a nice job. I really liked the Cheno singing That's How You Know. It was my favorite part.

I used to love the award shows so much, I would even record them. Now I don't even watch them. For many reasons they just don't do it for me anymore. I see no big deal about not watching. I'll hear about anything of note that happens anyway.
