Soo, I went and looked at one single apartment today. I wish I could say that it ended with me happily signing a lease, but no. There are three reasons for this: one, the apartment we looked at was only a year-long lease; two, my mother was so extremely horrified by the squalid space that she was unable to hide it (which is really rare for her); (3) it was raining so intensely that we were both like, so... want to go to the mall?

So we did that instead. It was really awesome. We were there for hours, because every time we looked out the windows to see if the rain had abated it... hadn't. It was serious, honest-to-God, "better grab some wood and the animals, Noah, cause some shit's goin' down today" deluge. At one point Hannah called me all, "so... tornado warnings, huh?" and I was like, "And flash floods, too! Gooo North Central Florida!"

Yeah. Nowhere to live, but new clothes and perfume! (And, thank god, a printer!)

And tomorrow, weather-permitting, I GET TO GO HOME! Whee!

Dude. The rain today sucked. I was hoping it would let up so I could do laundry. (Ha. Doing laundry NOW. Win. Stupid weather.)

So... are you going to have to sign a lease by yourself then? Also, where did you guys look?

Just the Courtyards, but holy shit, was my mom horrified. Completely horrified. She seriously thought it was like, squalid.

The rain today was so ridiculously intense! I was like, God, I hope Ollie's not driving home in this!

We have noooo idea what'll go down with the apt now. Damn rain.

I think the Courtyards are gross, too. That's where Laura lives. Also, there are TONS of parties over there. You really wouldn't want to live there. It's always loud.
