What TV show can you not stand and why?


So, um. I'm kind of well-known for my hatred. In that my reasons are never really important, but I'm kind of vehement about it. And then something happens and I realize that that which I previously hated is, in reality, the best thing ever. For example, back in the Crest, Monica started watching Alias. And oh how she loved Alias! And oh how everything was so wonderful! And I was like, STFU, because when people start extolling things... I tend to buck against them for no reason other than I suck and I'm stubborn. So finally I wear down and I was like, FINE. FINE I WILL WATCH YOUR SILLY PROGRAM. So I got the first disc from Netflix. I watched the pilot episode before mass on Christmas Eve, and by December 26th I was the proud owner of seasons one and two, based on three episodes.

Soooo you can see why I might be a bit reluctant to hate on any show. I guess the forerunners right now would be Heroes and Dr Who, for the sole reason that... everyone likes them, and I am perversely stubborn. Plus, David Tennant freaks me out and Milo Ventimiglia is the bane of my existance.

(Also hesitant to say that, because my number one favorite lady character in the world was once my number one most hated character of life. So.)

Oh, god. Cause I clearly had cataracts and didn't think she was pretty. (Which, WHAT?!?!) Cause they wanted me to swallow that Irina had an affair with Sloane, and vice versa. That TPTB had introduced a sister for Sydney so late in the game. That she was part of the Rambaldi crap. That her name was Nadia, and I didn't like it. Then I found her annoying, and then at the finale of season three I was SO IRKED when she went off with Sloane I couldn't stand it.

And it's horrible, because I love her so much! And she's clearly the best ever!

OK, I can buy nearly all of that, especially the Sloane/Irina affair that I HATE with a passion. (It was all Sloane's fault, I know it.) But you didn't think she was pretty?!? She's gorgeous! Yeah, I know you know that now, but still. *giggles*

Dude. I KNOW. I don't know what I was thinking. But I was all, SHE'S NOT EVEN PRETTY in my notes and probably on my LJ and I DON'T KNOW, OKAY. I WAS BLINDED BY HATE.

(And I will admit that she didn't look her best at the end of season three, whatwith the Chechnya thing and then the Sloane thing and then the prison thing. And I did think she looked pretty when she sauntered up to Sloane wearing that long ass fancy scarf. BUT SHE IS ALWAYS GORGEOUS WHAT WAS WRONG WITH ME!!)

one thing I don't get... the Milo Ventimiglia love. LOL I just don't find him cute much less hot or gorgeous.
and come on... there's only one MV on TV and that's Vartan :P

I hated him on Gilmore Girls so much it carried into everything he does. I'm sure he's very nice in real life but meeeeeh.

She's pretty much my best friend, so we've been pretty equal in "awesome introductions into one another's lives" but Alias tops it for me.
