sunshine_queenI have two good stories. I should really keep one to use for a later post, because nothing interesting ever happens, but yeah.
FRAUD!!!
Sooo a couple days ago I get an email from Bank of America all OMG SOMEONE KEEPS TRYING TO LOG IN AND FAILING GET ON OUR SITE AND FIX THAT. Since they're not my bank, I was like ahahaha spam, nice try.
Then I get another one, equally urgent. I'm all, Ma? I'm not hallucinating that they're not my bank, right? And she's like, no, dummy, of course not. And then she remembers that they're the bank for my credit card.
Then last night Amazon emails. They're suspending my delivery of Evernight unless I can fix whatever is up with my credit card in the next three days.
If it's been hacked, it'll be the SECOND TIME. The first time was because someone knocked over a store at the mall and ran away with the numbers and whatnot so the company gave me a new one to be safe. Awesome.
ERROR!!!
Last week I got called for Jury Duty, which is very much "...yay." because it's alllll the way downtown and it would be a bitch and a half to get there. So, I'm called for June 9th but I'm supposed to call the night before to see if they need me. Or something. Anyway.
So, there's a little... Juror's questionnaire thing you're supposed to fill it, and it asks you stuff like your address and birthday and stuff they should already know. On the back they have a space for if you want to put in an excuse for not going, but I didn't have one. At all.
Yesterday I got a letter from the courthouse all "YOUR WISH FOR JURY EXCUSAL HAS BEEN ACCEPTED." and I'm all, what?! I had no desire to do it at all, but at least June 9th was a really good day. I'm not in school, and we're not leaving til July. Now it's been postponed, and I didn't even ask for it!
So, on both counts, yey.
