INDY. :)

- The fact that the Janitor, Mr Meade and Harold Ziedler guest-starred: A+

- We got to see the Ark! <3

- CATE BLANCHETT, Y'ALL. She was so, so amazing. It was absurd.

- Harrison. So handsome. So wry. So wonderful.

- ... Aliens. Yep. I, I just- aliens, okay? I can get behind most things, but this? The crystal skulls? The crystal skeletons? Come on!

- Henry Jones III. It's not that good a name, people.

- Marion looked pretty good, all things considered.

- I love action movies. I love suspension of disbelief. BUT HE WAS SWINGING WITH MONKEYS. THEY WENT DOWN WATERFALLS. COME ON NOW.

- Those effing ants! South America has the scariest ants in the world.

- If there is ever a nuclear blast, hie thee hence to a refrigerator. You'll even be able to kick your way out, seal be damned.

- "We haven't been in touch in eighteen years. I left you, you never told me we had a kid. Let's get married!"
"AWESOME. Yes plz."

Shut. Up.

- Shia! He is so cute! He brings such pathos! In spite of his truly pathetic name, onscreen and off, I really liked him.

- I really want Irina Spalko to be a Derevko relative. Really. She was so effing cool, and this stuff could so be linked.\

Overall, I really liked the movie, but compared to the first and third? Jeez.

Yesssssssss now I can use one of the awesome icons Hannah made me last night. Anyway

- CATE BLANCHETT, Y'ALL. She was so, so amazing. It was absurd.

I really liked her, too. I laughed that her name was Irina. But I liked that she really believed in the stuff, because... it was a really hard MacGuffin to sell. But she was all, "It's rrrrrrrreeeeeeeealllll!" and you were like, "Okay, if you say so." And my mom said that in the 1950s they were into the crazy ESP shit, so it fit with the times.

- Harrison. So handsome. So wry. So wonderful.

I know! He's still awesome! It's nice to know some things will never change.

- ... Aliens. Yep. I, I just- aliens, okay? I can get behind most things, but this? The crystal skulls? The crystal skeletons? Come on!

LOL. I am so mindwanked from Alias and LOST and XF and my own mother that I could handle the aliens, I guess. I mean... it was a little hard, yeah. Especially the "space between space" thing. Whatever. It's just the plot! :P

- Henry Jones III. It's not that good a name, people.

LOL, I know. The night before I saw the movie I was really confused because I saw on the Wiki that Shia's name was "Henry 'Mutt' Williams" and I was like... he's a HENRY! LIKE--LIKE HIS DAD OMG! ...but WHY IS HE A WILLIAMS?! It was tough times for like, twelve whole hours.

- Marion looked pretty good, all things considered.

I thought so, too! I mean, they didn't try to botox her up or sex her up or anything. They just let her be 50-some odd years old, which was refreshing. But she still had that cute little smile.

She sounded different, though, which really took some getting used to for me.

- I love action movies. I love suspension of disbelief. BUT HE WAS SWINGING WITH MONKEYS. THEY WENT DOWN WATERFALLS. COME ON NOW.

I closed my eyes during the swinging with the monkeys. I couldn't handle it. But I thought the waterwalls were hilarious, just because they were so ridiculous.

SHHHHHHH. I am the only person aliiiive that liked that part, but I wore shippy-rose-colored-glasses to the movie.

- Shia! He is so cute! He brings such pathos! In spite of his truly pathetic name, onscreen and off, I really liked him.

Me too! And Sticksy pointed this out to me, but Indy named himself after a dog and a mutt is a dog and... yeah.

Overall, I really liked the movie, but compared to the first and third? Jeez.

Yeah. I think I enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed the third, but Raiders is just a classic. At least this one was better than Temple of Doom! That's all I really wanted.

You're right, it was like "crystal skulls, for serious?" but she totally was into them and sold it. So go her.

Accepting and getting behind are two different things though. I'm totally accepting of that stuff because: I grew up on soaps. I can swallow almost anything. It's just... crystal alien skulls. OMG.

My mom thought she didn't look good, but I do. Not super young or anything, but age appropriate.

I closed my eyes during the swinging with the monkeys. I couldn't handle it.

The monkeys or the swinging?

Hehehehe. Love you.

And yeah, I liked the film, but the bit about aliens... eh. If they hadn't put in the effing UFO, I would have been happier.

I agree. The UFO made my sister say "Where's Mulder, huh?"
