So in five hours we will be on our way to Gainesville, where we will try to find me a damn apartment, and then to Hendersonville, NC to visit with the Hoppes and then, after at least one more stop between there and Albany, NY. And we don't come home until the first week of August.

I'm trying to be positive but it's three weeks in my grandmother's house which has no internet, no cable, and no phone lines. And yes, it's in civilization, she's just in a home now and so our family has the house but everything but the power is off and it's super weird going there without my grandmother being there and everything's super weird with Katie's illness and Gramma's weird memory and the fact that two sides of my family aren't really speaking.

On the upside! I'll get to meet my cousins' two new babies and see my relatives and... a change of scenery? And lodging for next year, that's important.

So, I might post tomorrow, hopefully with great glee as I announce my housing situation. Or maybe in a Starbucks in upstate NY. Who knows! It's a crazy world without the internet!
