sunshine_queenSo, Thanksgiving was pretty good. Spent it with the Hoppes and my family.
And then we went to see Australia which... was not so good. My thoughts, which aren't too spoil-y, are beneath the cut just in case you want to see it- BUT GOD PEOPLE DON'T DO IT TO YOURSELF.
- IT WAS NINE THOUSAND YEARS LONG. Titanic is long, but while it feels long, at least you know where you're going: you've got three days til that boat goes down and that's it. This movie? Just went on and on and on and on and yeah, you knew it started in 1939 and they had to get to 1941 but OMG.
- Nullah was the cutest kid ever.
- Hugh Jackman is lovely and I find him very charming, but he just... doesn't do it for me.
- A MILLION AND TEN YEARS LONG. They really, really could've edited it a lot better.
- It was beautifully shot.
- The love story was... eh. Which was upsetting! I wanted to like it!
- So many cows. SO MANY.
And tomorrow we're doing Black Friday. AT FIVE AM. Five! AM!
It's insane.
