I am one of like, fifteen people that ship Jack/Nadia like I'm being paid to, but I don't care. THERE WAS SO MUCH SUBTEXT. Mia Maestro has the unsettlingly amazing talent of having chemistry with every single person she works with, but Victor Garber in particular. And it was like the writers on the show shipped it secretly as well. Delicious. And look at how beautiful the icon is! She is gazing at him. Love!

Growing Up Cullen is one of the greatest things of my life, and this is a quote from it. Really, Twilight has brought so much joy and joyfulness into my existence. The amount of pleasure I get out of teasing and mocking it is quite possibly unhealthy. This is EdCull being overly dramatic and queeny. He is Lee Adama's soulmate.

I love Barbra Streisand, and one of the movies that I love best with her is On a Clear Day You Can See Forever. It is 100% delightful and quirky and wonderful. There are hardly any icons of Barbra at all, but even less of her in Clear Day, so when I saw this I think I whooped aloud in glee. And Daisy Gamble is so gorgeous!

Leland Joseph Adama + his emotions + Cher lyrics = amazing. The rainbow and clouds are amazing, the rainbow text is amazing, Lee expressing his feelings is... common. I find this icon enchanting. And my comment for it is from GUC because EdCull = Leemo.

High Society icon! They're few and far between, especially pretty ones. This is from when Ellie and Dott decided against plastic surgery. They're pretty much the best BFFs ever, and I love the way Dott has her head on Ellie's shoulder and Ellie's look of disgust.

Oldest icon! I've had it since before March 2006, and I doubt I will ever get rid of it. Look at Sloane's gleeful expression! Look at the cheerful font! I use this icon whenever someone posts good news, because it's so appropriate.

Yeah, let's talk about how awesome Six is in general: the fact that she's both beautiful and badass, and a strong enough influence to make a man hallucinate her for years. Let's also talk about the awesome way she talks about God all the time, and how much I love religious imagery and stuff. Then toss is how Head!Six is a lot meaner than Caprica!Six, and we can talk about how she's devillish. It's a win-win. I love the way she's like, biting Gaius playfully.

They are the sweetest best friends ever. They're walking Isabelle in this picture, and he hugs her and Syd is so happy that he's there and the colors are so gorgeous and gaaaah. Even though she's a life-ruiner he still loves her! She's his delicate porcelain lily! I want to marry Will Tippin, by the way.

In one of my favorite aliases ever, Jack and Irina pretend to be doting Italian parents and are incredibly adorable in the process. Irina's hand on his stomach, under his jacket! Jack's face! Irina's classy chignon! They are the most frakked up couple ever.

I've learned that most of my icons of Bill and Laura can be categorized in two ways: Bill looking at Laura adoringly, or Laura looking at Bill adoringly. The ratio of these is like, 15:1. This icon, however, shows Laura looking up at Bill with such love and I can hardly stand it. They are so ridiculously and overwhelmingly in love.

UM THEY LOVE EACH OTHER. That's what this icon means to me. I usually hate icons that aren't just the picture, cropped and sometimes altered for color, but this is an exception, because having both their reaction shots is so perfect. She made Admiral Atheist believe! Also, they love each other. I know it's been said but it is so true.

I think of the two Robin Sparkles songs and videos, I love Sandcastles in the Sand best. While Let's Go to the Mall is genius in lyrical form, Sandcastles had so many awesome lines, and, I'm sorry, the video was like, ten times better. It was her artistic follow up! I think what really cold me on this icon was the pop of color Robin's leggings and bow add to the icon. Also, Dawson's Simon's hair is indeed radical there.

I thought Barney's play was brilliant in its awfulness the first time I saw it. Then I watched BSG, and the whole robot = Cylon = toaster thing happened, and Barney's play got a million times better. HE IS A ROBOT WHO FELL IN LOVE. Like other robots you may know.




mizzykitty asked that I select my seven favorite icons and talk about them. This is exceedingly difficult, BECAUSE I LOVE ALL MY ICONS. It's like Sophie's choice up in here.

The Edge of Love is this movie that just came out with Keira Knightley, Cillian Murphy and Sienna Miller, and it is pretty damn fantastic, and visually gorgeous. I begged Hannah to make me icons of Keira and Cillian as a couple, but then she saw this one and made this icon for me. And I think it is frighteningly beautiful. The colors are muted and perfect and dreamy.

I love Bailey. She is my favorite character on Greys, hands down, because Chandra Wilson is fantastic. However, when she is in a scene with Mary McDonnell, it is difficult for me, because my love for Mary is very strong. Her guest appearances on Greys is what got me into BSG- and this part? Where she needs to be hugged by Bailey and Cristina? Is the absolute best part. So much love.

Syd and Vaughn, being precious. My favorite part is Sydney's expression- she really seems radiantly overjoyed. And I don't usually like black and white icons, but I think this one is really spectacular.

And I also love that where Lee/Kara is only misery and nastiness and stress and angst, Sam/Kara is drunken, happy fun times. IT IS AWESOME. And Sam is incredibly handsome.

The sad thing about the pictures from this scene is while they're gorgeous, it's not really Jack and Irina. Because it's fauxrina. SHE IS LIKE A CYLON. Anyway, the fact that it's not really the couple I so love aside, this icon is lovely, and I love when couples dance.

Lauroslin is the head bitch in charge, and I think no image of her better represents it than this one. Also, I've seen this picture a lot but I think the coloring of this one is so rich and beautiful and really makes Laura look really healthy.

See, I used to just love this icon because it was Jack Bristow, walking down the hall like a badass (or, as I called him when I first got the icon, a big man on campus). But then yahtzee63 and the other girls at the_retelling mentioned how whenever they saw the icon, it made them think of The BeeGee's song 'Stayin' Alive' and so it became this thing that I would use it whenever I replied to certain of them and they would usually include some lyric from the song in their response or the subject. It therefore went from being a great icon to a fantastic one.

Beautiful choices. I especially like the first one because like you said, the dreamy muted colors. And oh, there's just something so poignant and sad about the Jack and fauxrina one! Lovely coloring in that one too!

That's why I use the icons of them dancing- it might be fauxrina, but when you put that aside, it's so exactly what you said, poignant and sad.
