Feb. 8th, 2010 11:41 pmDay 04 → Your favorite book
This involved considerably less stress.

I find it hard to talk about this book, because it is just so amazing that I kind of get dumbstruck. I've read it probably seven times and each time I find more details or hidden clues that I'd missed before. It gets better each time I read it. It's dense, but in a delicious, rich way. Margaret Atwood is my favorite author ever- she has a lyrical quality to her work that makes her every turn of phrase both functional and beautiful, and it's a real treat to read. And the way this book is set up- with the newspaper clippings, the novel, and what Iris is writing- it works so well, and it's just gorgeous. Everyone should read it.
