001. What songs are you currently addicted to?
Leonard Cohen's "Dance Me to the End of Love." It's so incredibly gorgeous, and the words just make my heart ache in this wonderful way and I WILL NEVER GET ENOUGH OF IT.

This is my favorite version, though there are others by Leonard Cohen and plenty of covers. It's so gorgeous, it's ridic.

002. What are you currently reading?
Heh, I'm rereading Bergdorf Blondes. It's trashy and amazing. I love reading about rich people and the things they buy, because I like to be informed on what I should buy if I ever find myself fabulously wealthy. IT IS GOOD TO BE INFORMED.

003. What was the last movie you saw?
Oh jeez. In the theatre? Um... Date Night. At home, I watched The Young Victoria with my mother.

004. What makes you angriest/most frustrated right now?
The way that a lot of members of my family would drown in a foot of water because they're too busy flailing over something silly.

005. Favorite book and why?
The Blind Assassin by Margaret Atwood. It is so rich and dense and beautifully written, and the story develops in such a fascinating way, and every time I read it I discover something new or find a new link, and it's just... brilliant.

006. What are your current addictions?
BSG, really.

007. What is your favorite t-shirt?
Hm. Probably my black scoop neck one.

008. Something about you that most people don't know? Extra points if it's interesting.
I was talked about at a medical conference when I was seventeen because I had these freaky eye infections that were inexplicable and my two ophthalmologists that I visited three times a week for a few months were stymied by it. When they told me, I was really psyched, because I thought it was cool- and one was like, um, no. You never want doctors bringing you up at a medical conference. I have a scar on my cornea on one eye from the debacle, and I learned a few months ago that had it been a few centimetres over, I would've needed a corneal transplant. But I'm okay now, yay!

009. What was the last thing you bought?
A new purse! I'm actually really delighted by it, it's brown and leather and it smells really good. Which is clearly the criteria I should follow.

010. Do you have more friends online or off?
Well, the line tends to blur, since I've had plenty of friends I've made online become friends offline, and I'm in more consistent contact with online people, so... I don't know? In number, I probably have more offline friends, but in closeness, internet wins?

011. Something that made you laugh today?
My sister said something and it had me in stitches. This happens a lot while I'm around her.

012. Favorite non-alcoholic beverage?
Water!

013. What was the last thing you ate?
Some leftover pasta from dinner.

014. What are your current favorite pairings?
Gaius/Caprica!!!!!!!!!! They make my heart rise up with joy and song. I also love The Tighs and Sam/Kara. I also really, really dig Cain/Gina which... I KNOW OKAY. I KNOW. I AM NOT PLEASED.

015. Favorite website?
tumblr.com. It's addictive and amazing.

016. What are your plans for tomorrow?
Waking up, assembling and frosting my sister's birthday cake, running to the bank, packing, and celebrating my sister's eighteenth birthday.

017. What kind of music is contained in your hard drive?
Oh jeez, a crazy variety. Lots of soundtracks. And Barbra Streisand. And Shakira.

018. Favorite color?
White.

019. Pet peeve?
Oh, God, everything. I am annoyed by everything. Fidgety noises?

020. Guilty pleasure?
Trashy society books like Bergdorf Blondes or the Gossip Girl series, fast forwarding through episodes to just watch shippy scenes.
