So, normally speaking, I think James Callis is an attractive guy, but he's not my archetype of male perfection physically. He's handsome enough, and his charisma certainly makes him incredibly attractive, but I've never seen him and been like, swoon, James Callis.





Ohhhhhh my sweet lord, CHECK HIM OUT. His bone structure! And his brooding eyes! AND HIS JAUNTY FEDORA, AND HIS DEVIL-MAY-CARE CIGARETTE!

So now I'm just picturing Dr Gaius Baltar walking around like he's from the Twenties, and that's why Caprica was totally enchanted by him, at least at first. But, no, seriously, LOOK AT HIM. Damn.

The shorter hair was always what I preferred. But damn is he working the accoutrements!

I'm surprised it's the forties! That shot made it look older to me, but oh well- the forties are just as good.

Maybe you should give it a shot. I wasn't a fan before, the show seemed silly and patchy. But the last two episodes have been.. just GOOD. I actually care about what happens, and James is so awesome.

In last night's episode, he got to be this crazy scientist who attempts to save the world! Drilling into electricity! Safety goggles! Running and jumping! It's.. Science Man!!

Reading your commentary, I'm pretty sure I'd hate the show because my soul is black and I take everything too seriously, but at least Callis has work? That's always good.
