LENA, COME HOME!
Oct. 5th, 2004 06:53 pmWent to Cheesecake Factory for Daddy's birthday dinner. We all wound up fighting, as usual. Ah, Family Outings. What would they be without a fight? Barren, I say. And I finished 'Enemies, a love story' And I miss it. Scratch that, I miss Herman and Masha. Really.
Right. What happened today?
In drama, I'm going to do a skit with Jasmin, and we're dressing up like little girls on Thursday. Teh yay!
Math was fun, 'cause I understand. Which is odd. And I totally got the homework right, and I did it all by myself. Revel, yo.
Lunch was hot and odd, since we have random people at the table now. Friends of friends, but still random to me. And Philly is sick and tired of Heather and the Jorge bullshit. The so-yesterdaying of Jorge is so yesterday. Dammit.
And in Khausinau, he pissed me off. And then tried to make it better. Which he always does, 'cause he likes me best. And then he made us write an essay on Macbeth in 35 minutes, which I totally think I dominated. Afterwards, he said I was a good writer, not because he read it, but because he's seen my work, and rather than have my classmates check my paper on a rubric like, you know, everyone else, he wants to check my paper and I can check his, because, yes, he wrote an essay in the 35 minutes just like the rest of us. Which should prove interesting.
Volunteered at the hospital. Gaaaah hate it there. I sat in the playroom and read almost all of 'Anastasia Krupnik', the first book of a series that I totally adored by Lois Lowry. And then I hid in the linen closet. And on the way home Mommy grilled me about school. Which sucked.
And now I'm here. I have an in-class essay tomorrow in history, I have to talk to Yubs about something in chem for tomorrow, and some french homework. Because life is grand. And the make-up test. Daddy's in South Carolina on a business trip, which is... weird.
Nita, love, thanks for the info on theatrical muse. Now I must gather the courage to post.

And aww, my daddy's gone too. But then, he is a lot. So no surprises.
