sunshine_queenThose of you who are friends of facebook might have been all, omg, why is Madi suddenly a young blonde girl in 1973? And the answer is "I put up a picture of my mom for mother's day because my mom wanted to do it and because there were some awesome pictures."
And because it's not mother's day year round, and because I expect everyone in my family to return to their normal pictures tomorrow, I decided to compile them here.
My grandmother in 1943/1944- she would've been about fifteen or sixteen.
My grandmother a few years later.
My mother at fourteen months old.
My mother looking really ridiculously good-looking in 1973. The stupid thing is that her hair color is the one I dream of having.
Most of you haven't met my sister, but this picture of my mother looks EXACTLY LIKE HER. My sister currently owns a second hand dress that she loves that is almost identical to that one, she wears her hair up like that all the time, and their faces are near the same. It's eerie.
On the other side of my family tree, here is my abuela holding my father in like... 1949, I'd say? Apparently my daddy wore dresses back in the old country.
In conclusion, happy mother's day to all! ♥ ♥ ♥
