Birds in the sky, you know how I feel...
Oct. 22nd, 2004 04:04 pmLast night's pinning ceremony was actually not too bad. I wore the dress I wore to Karen's quince, like, three years ago- a black cotton frock with pink tulle under the skirt- and black heels with pink trimmings- and practically every girl wore the same colors.
Everyone looked really nice- I saw all the girls from Drama and my group, and the most amazing thing about these sorts of events is that you can see someone you barely know, but you still must exclaim how beautiful/handsome they look and give them a kiss. It's both fun and interesting.
We took a picture of the junior girls that Addy, Philly and Janelle all missed- but I sat with Heather and behind the girls from Drama (and by that I mean Carolina, Ashley, Maria, and more, but those were the ones I was directly behind.) And Carolina is a trip.
The ceremony pretty much went off without a hitch- my Abercrombie twin gave me a giftcard to Starbucks, yay, and we commented on the ceremony througout, and she was fun.
Got pinned! And Janelle said I looked really thin on stage. Hooray.
Then there was a hooker-ish salsa dance in which one girl was wearing a very flippy-uppy skirt and a thong and we all got to see a lot more than we wanted to.
AND I GOT MY IB SHIRT!
Squee! I have been lusting after this IB shirt since I first saw it freshman year- it's grey, and in blue it had a picture of the statue 'The thinker' and it says, "I think; therefore IB" and the IB is the logo and it was all beautimous.
Then I came home, and instead of LJing... I did my damn play analysis. Which sucked.
I looked good, though.
Today was a good day- in drama we performed (me, Brittany, Samantha, and Ashley) and we rocked on. I got to hit a desk with a big wooden stick! It was great.
I was wearing my IB shirt, as was half the class of IB juniors! It was fandamntastic.
In math we went to a hispanic heritage concert thing, which was fun, and then in Khausinau half the kids got a pass to go to the concert and the rest of the class sans pass had a blast 'cause Khausinau is several shades of fun when he's not being an ass.
And now I am starving and have to call Tata, as she failed her driving test and we were going out tonight.
And I'm starving 'cause I ate a snickers at the concert and wasn't hungry for lunch. Grumble. Going to eat now.

Poor Tata! I hope she passes next time. Driving tests are SO stressful.
