I believe in a thing called love.
Dec. 7th, 2004 06:19 pmFirst things first: HAPPY BIRTHDAY CRYSSA!
I went to the Bass Museum today with my french class to see an exhibit on Paris Moderne.
Can I tell you how sophisticated I feel, being able to say that today I saw actual paintings by Boticelli, Degas, Renoir, Toulouse-Lautrec, Modigliani, Picasso?
Museums are really, really cool.
Hung out with Heather, Addy, Jacob, Janelle and this dude named Jose. I was the only one really, really into the speaker person. She was really nice and smart and all. Janelle and I walked out for lunch and wound up at this little Greek place and still we weren't late back for the bus. I got pulled into a random conversation in french with a complete stranger and was complimented on my accent. (MASSIVE SQUEALS OF PURE UNADULTERATED JOY)
Turns out we all missed a hella lot in chem. (PURE UNADULTERATED DOOM)
I also need to write my rough draft of my extended essay. By next week. And I have the Jingle Ball on Sunday.
And? Christmas stuff. Still no present for Nica, or Tess, or Tata. Hannah, I love you for wanting the Sarah, it's easy. I need to find cards so I can write witty things on them and then get them mailed out.
Feel like crap as am PMSing. Didn't go to gym as am ready to drop dead. Need to read some Hawthorne because eee I love him.
However, it's amazing the wonderful fanfic you can find if you just believe it's out there. And, oh, I believe. I BELIEVE IN YOU, SPYRENTS!

Date: 2004-12-08 02:06 am (UTC)And eee! Madi! I cannot stop reading this fic. I have two tests I should be studying for, but . . . eee! I WANT TO BELIEVE! (Well, maybe I do believe. But did you honestly think I was going to miss the opportunity to throw out the Mulder mantra in all caps? Exactamente.)

Date: 2004-12-08 02:12 am (UTC)Am I the only one really sad that Doggett has the I WANT TO BELIEVE poster? I mean, irony and all that, but still. I think Scully should have had it. Or it should have gone with baby William. I'm also really bitter that the newer poster is from the Jealousy-Inducing-Freaky-Dog-Lady, but sure, fine, whatever. :P
