Okay, for the first thing?

Sloane is going to be on LIVE with Regis and Kelly tomorrow morning and I CANNOT WATCH IT BECAUSE OF THE DAMN POOL!

(I really mean Ron Rifkin. But, honestly, how cool would it be if it were Sloane? "And now, great humanitarian and leader of Omnifam- Arvin Sloane! *Regis and Kelly music/ Audience applause*)

(One and a half-ly? I LOVE KELLY RIPA. She was Hayley Vaughn on All My Children. Well, Hayley Vaughn Santos. VAUGHN SANTOS, guys! VAUGHN SANTOS. See, her mom was Arlene Vaughn, an alcoholic and a bitch. Her Daddy is Adam Chandler, the SpyDaddy of Pine Valley. And she married The Love Of Her Life, Mateo Santos. They had a baby. But then Kelly started to do the talk show and got that Hope and Faith show so Hayley, Mateo and their new baby Lorenzo moved to California, leaving the rest of the Santos clan bereft and Adam without his baby girl. Ma and I watched Hope and Faith out of support for our girl, but really? It sucked. Kelly, make Hayley go home to Pine Valley. The other cool thing about Kelly is that Hayley is married to Mateo, and Mateo is played by Mark Consuelos, who is her husband IN REAL LIFE. And her babies' daddy. Aaaaanyway.)

Secondly?

Senior pictures are on Friday. FRIDAY. I am doomed. They're going to come out abysmally. I'm going to be hideous. Despite my going over to Tati's for her to do my nails and hair. ABYSMAL.

Thirdly:

The word "abysmal" rocks. I wish it was the word of the day. I actually get the word of the day emails from dictionary.com. Yes, the "shut up" is implied.

Fourthly, Lena Olin is beyond compare. I read recently somewhere that Lena learned to be a very subtle actress and therefore is about a GAZILLION TIMES more effective. I watched "Enemies, a Love Story" today and whoa. Like. Whoa. Lena is amazing. She does these simple little faces and they're so much more impressive than a grandiose gesture would have been.

Fifthly, I am exhausted. I've gotten about fifteen hours of sleep in the past three days. Woo hoo, Venetian!

Sixthly, I'll be in NY in a week. :-(

Seventhly, I'm thinking of getting a new perfume for the first time since middle school. I've worn Curve for a hundred years. Now I'm all, Ralph Lauren Blue. Should I cross over?

Can't really help with the perfume thing--I use "I Am Energy" and have used it for years and adore it with every fiber of my being. Yeah.

And I have an actual Word Of The Day calenday. That I flip. Everyday. And there are rules, like that you can't flip to the next day until you WAKE UP that day, because it would ruin the surprise. And I keep the words that I like. And no, I'm not crazy, my nickname's just "Vocab!" for a reason.

Aaanyway. Good luck with the senior pictures. Think pretty thoughts.

Ooh, I got up in time to see Uncle Arvin! I'm rather impressed with myself. And kinda did it accidentally. Life is funny like that.

Also, the world would be a better place if we could see Sloane on a talk show. I say they should start a talk show that actors went on as their characters. Because who wouldn't love that?

I wish I could get word-of-the-day emails. I tried to sign up once and it didn't work for some reason. I was deeply saddened. Oh, Dictionary.Com. Why are you so intent upon hurting me?

Lena defies all description. But in a good way, unlike . . . whatever I used that same expression about last night, but in a bad way. And I need to see me some more Lena movies. It's quite simply necessary.
