I see Nica tomorrow!
Aug. 1st, 2005 08:27 pmDude, they really did name the planet Xena? When my dad showed me that article a few days ago, I died laughing. Is it for real?
And is it bad that I'm all, "But all the other planets are Roman!" and Xena's all Greek and Warrior Princess-like. And oh-so-far from Mars/Ares. :-(
In other Jess related news, I ordered my shiny silver iPod today. My negotiation skills are awesome.
Went to the pulmonologist to get my lungs checked out and got all these tests done. They think I have anxiety, but... I don't know that I'm anxious. So, whatever.
Went to get my class ring resized. That only took twenty thousand years.
What's up with all the Abercrombies I've visited lately sucking? I haven't been to my Abercrombie in a few weeks, but the one in Saratoga and the one in the Falls sucked.
And Regina is right. Apple Stores waaaay look like APO. It's weird.
Speaking of APO, I have totally just realized that having Alias on underneath AIM is a wonderful use of my time. I can pay attention occasionally, glance up to see my favorite group of people, hear key lines, and not really listen- but it eliminates the need for my to circle the same websites repeatedly that don't update every two minutes.
After Tess signed off last night I noticed that the Alias people were ontop of continuity in one area- the Omnifam logo from season 3- remember that season? the one that didn't happen?- showed up on SD-6's floor nine minutes into Phase One.
And? One day I will figure out what episode and what scene the notorious Scene 137 is.
I'm rereading 'Whatever happened to Janie?' and I am absolutely floored at how much I loved the two first books of that series. And the movie. Gom, the movie.
... so. On the engraving piece of my iPod, guess what I had engraved underneath my name? Nica guessed it. IN ONE. Like, first thing she thought of, and she was RIGHT. It was amazing.
Truth Takes Time.
So there.
