So. I decided against homecoming.

I was all gung-ho about it earlier today. I really was. Everyone keeps telling me I need to.

Then Heather walks into math.

"You will NEVER believe whose after-party we're going to!" she announces, and sure enough, it's a party hosted by Vaca and "STD Mike."

STD Mike.

God help us.

Drugs were alluded to.

Now, I don't care about drinking. I do care about drugs. I don't want to do them. I have no desire to smoke anything, to swallow anything, to inhale anything, etc.

And I realize- it might be fun, getting dressed up, but once I go to Heather's for pictures- it'll be over. My school friends will ignore me in favor of one another. The after party will be hell. I don't like to dance.

I won't have fun.

Ergo: no homecoming.

Unless something happens to make me want to buy tickets on Friday. But I doubt it.

*sigh*

Other than that, Javier and I rocked our skit in drama, I got an A on a french quiz, and I only got a C on the math quest. I want to keep a B in that class SO BAD.

Do you have to go to the after-party? If you don't go, you get a great high-school memory without stupid drug parties.

Everyone I know will be going, so if I'm there at the dance and not at the afterparty, it'll be a whole oh-you-snubbed-us mess.
