I could sure use a co-la
Sep. 17th, 2005 09:48 pmSo, my Mom, sister and I go to see "Just like Heaven." The movie was really, really cute, and it had a lot of really good songs/ covers of really good songs. And? I adore Mark Ruffalo. Beyond all reason. And for no good reason, really, because he's not my type. But still, love.
Mom and me in the theatre
Mark Ruffalo: *sits down on couch to drink beer.*
Me: I keep expecting Jen to show up.
Mom: Wrong movie.
Me: Yeah. I know. But *ghetto* Ruff-a-loooo.
Mom: Whatever
[ Later ]
Mark Ruffalo: *is sad because he's watching a wedding video of his dead wife*
Me: Oh my GOD it's his wedding!
Mom: Oh my god, where's Jenna?
Me: Wrong movie! Jenna is not dead!
[ Later ]
Mark Ruffalo: *is sad 'cause Reese Witherspoon can be a bitch*
Me: Aw, he's all alone.
Mom: After this, he goes home and meets up with Jenna.
Me: But Jen's not in this movie!
Mom: Whatever. Small problem.
[ Later ]
Mark Ruffalo: *is sad 'cause he's telling Reese Witherspoon about dead wife*
Mom: So, that's totally Wendy. We're in the reality where Jenna was still thirty and flirty and miserable.
Me: And somewhat trampy. In a cute, bewildered way.
Mom: Exactly.
Me: But now he's with [Reese Witherspoon.]
Mom: Yeah, but she's in a coma. He can hook up with Jenna.
Mark Ruffalo: *dead wife dead wife dead wife* Laura.
Mom and I: *silence*
Me: Wow, this isn't 13 going on 30.
[ Later ]
Movie: *ends*
Me: I still wish it had been Jen.
Mom: What, with the snow globe?
Me: No! As Reese Witherspoon.
Mom: Jen can't be in everything, you know.
Me: But she should be.
That was fun. Unfortunately, Ma and I went in search of my grilled salmon sushi... and it is NO WHERE TO BE FOUND. Four times I have been thwarted in my grilled salmon sushi. :-(
Slept in until 1:30. Next year, when I am hopefully in college, I seriously need to schedule late classes. Early ones just won't work for me. I wish someone would sign in, though.
Ma and Dad went to the Paul McCartney concert last night, and consequently my mother has been listening to Paul's new CD nonstop. The third song on it, Jenny Wren, is absolutely amazing. I have it on repeat. All should listen.

Date: 2005-09-17 09:41 pm (UTC)And Mark Ruffalo, who is always very not my type. But much with the love anyway. <3 I associate him with 13 Going On 30, too, so it was a little weird.
