Sep. 25th, 2005 03:54 pmThe American Express commercial with Kate Winslet is just so adorable. I love it.
That said, who knew that there was a gay/lesbian channel? I way didn't, and I get it, so I was surfing this morning and came across "The Birdcage." So I settle down to watch it and lo... they have very specific themes with their programs and commercials. And eventually it dawned that yes indeedy.
Heather's party last night was pretty fun- Julie invited Dominique! So I spent a lot of time talking to him, which was fabulous. And my parents made a brief cameo, and I found out they were there by Marcos coming over and telling me that he had been introduced to my whole family, and my mom was by the pool.
But we had a good time, and I found that Heather is going to Gator Growl too! Which means I can see her. Yay.
I'm going to see Niiiiiiica!
I need to pick up the script for my play for drama so I can do my external assessment rough draft. And I have come to terms with my general doomedness when it comes to my failing my math internal assessment.

Date: 2005-09-25 01:02 pm (UTC)And yay for seeing Nica! That's too cool.
Math, on the other hand, is bad. I think I've already effectively repressed 90% of what I've learned throughout the entirety of my math career. I have trouble adding the dots on dice now.

Oh, I get so excited when I can do simple math. It's insane.

Yay for meeting Nica! But boo for math, which is just generally all sorts of bad. I have Alegbra II this year, though, and it's actually rather easy. So, score.

And yay for Nica! And math sucks.

Date: 2005-09-25 05:59 pm (UTC)And whoa.. Gator Growl.. awesome! Hopefully I'll be there for the 2006 one. ::crosses fingers:: So this Nica chick is a UF student?
How are your college apps coming? I'm applying to UF, Stetson, UCF, and UM. But, ehh, I've only really started on the UF one. But honestly, if I don't get into UF, I don't really care where I go.

Date: 2005-09-26 12:54 pm (UTC)Well, Nica goes to the University of Maryland, and I'm going there this weekend.
And dude, I haven't even started my applications. I'm applying for sure at UF and probably FIU as my safety, and I think Cornell, and possibly UMd for Nica-purposes. But we'll see.
